This is a smart move. CYD knows that China wants hybrid engines. This will pay off. CYD management has faced reality. It needs to produce what the country's national leadership has decided to favor. Besides, the Party's reasoning is good. And, although CYD public relations stuff focused on its cleanest and newest engines, it was still producing older generation stuff in various categories. Management has been quite candid about this strategic problem and now seems to be facing it. So, the new CYD will be a stronger company and will produce what the Chinese market wants and needs and we shareholders and the people in China who depend on CYD for their jobs and for CYD contributions to their towns and cities will all benefit. Some Patience is needed.
