    More on Geron's business posture.

My point simply is that the best way for both JNJ and Geron shareholders is that, instead of a buyout, JNJ must seek merger of Geron with it giving Geron shareholders a deal that convers shareholders' Geron shares to JNJ shares that is acceptable to Geron shareholders and the board. This will keep WS crooks out. But, giving millions of shares free to WS crooks in that case tells me that Scarlett and company really did that with stupidity, showing their lack of foresight, isn't it?!!

Doctor, there are certain questions in my mind. One is that there are two options to JNJ: it can continue paying the two digit percentage of net IMET sale every year, year after year, at a high sale volume until all relatedpatents expire for its multiple applications and at a low volume after the patents expire OR it gives a flat offer to buy the Geron that is voted yes by shareholders. Obviously, the former is tied to sales but, for JNJ, it depends on how JNJ controls its own costs to get its profit after paying the cut to Geron. Also,in that case Geron remains a profit generating company until someone buys it and grabs all the rights. This certainly makes JNJ uneasy to bear, especially if a competitor buys those rights. Therefore, JNJ has the best choice to make a buyout offer itself!! The question then, what the Geron board and shareholders will see fit for them to do: Accept JNJ offer or another bidder who comes up with a better deal?

I think JNJ management must have thought about this scenario and may be planning to avoid that. The question, then, is how?!! Should it use its WS friends to help it?!! If it does that or doing that already, don't lus shareholders get screwed in a way that JNJ and WS crooks reap the most benefit?! Can the bozos running Geron now protect our interest against JNJ-WS interest?!!

Well, there are other questions in my mind too; but later.

Cheng, tell me how many such biotech's have zero debt, hefty cash in hand, no liability, staff of just 17(low cost!) and a breakthrough type product which is completely being developed, marketed and sold by a pharma like Janssen/JNJ and proven by none other than Mayo? You can't just compare apples and oranges! Please get off your cozy feelings for WS and think objectively. Thanks for your serious responses.

The Problem With Pundits Posting On This Board

Black, that is not my Point! I am commenting on posts that raise expectations and create anxiety w.r.t. (premature) announcement of trial results by Janssen. Just let it take its course!

  • is that they want the results of the trial so far be announced now and the traders want that too so that they can make quick bucks! The reality is that IMET is being tested for cancers and that testing requires confirmatory observations and a thorough analysis for precise dosage determination and evaluation of side effects. Also, all reviewers must agree. All this is time consuming and the guys involved in this study are not WS executives but scientists!! The former look for quarterly profits so that they can earn hefty bonuses and the latter look for the right answers!! Do the pundits understand this?!!!

Yes, every company has to make a decision that is best for profitability of its operations. If Janssen finds that continuing spending on the two trials is likely to be of questionable profitability (due not only to some success in the trials but also competing products coming up sooner in the market), its management may decide to discontinue instead of committing any further cash payment to Geron. However, I am of a strong opinion that the continuation decision is coming forth since Janssen took the trials at 100 locations globally and may even use IMET in combination with its own drug as a standard chemo therapy for a variety of hematological and even solid-tumor cancers. They should have kept in view the Mayo's work and its success when making the decision to commit a billion-dollar deal with Geron. They are not stupid!!

He has managed to place two of his cronies in the board; but,I am not sure how he managed to get the majority to approve his unethically huge total compensation. Perhaps somehow Huhhas been subdued by him. Only time will tell how deep the WS influence exists on the board. The WS influence, strangely has been an occurrence since Okarma was expelled and Scarlett was hired! What role Huh played in this is also a bit of a puzzle to me since he may have been silenced to have been allowed to be the COB. Are these two working together or it's just Scarlett who holds the strings?! I think Geron's and its shareholders future will be best if it is in the hands of Janssen/JNJ rather than these pigmy yet greedy bozos who are more inclined to help WS than long- holding shareholders.

If you're smart enough, you do not need someone to offer evidence!! By the way, you're, in my view and judgment, cozy with the WS guys!! Are you their agent?!!

With the latest step of patent expiring in 2033, it's a sign that the continuation decision comingfromJanssen is imminent or a given situation. The WS crooks, knowing this, have been dragging the SP down deliberately to grab more cheaply. Time to add more if you are smart!!

That is a good point to keep in mind. And, as you implied, the contuation decision comes first fromJanssen, not Geron! Once that is received, then Geron management has to decide for Opt-In or Opt-Out. My guess is that it will be Opt-In so that the bozos can keep their job!

  • The SP manipulation and depressed level are primarily the result of the bozos @ Geron's giving away millions of free shares to WS crooks one of who is apparently the MM. Was this deliberate? You have to ask that to the Geron CEO who was awarded several-million dollar compensation, including reward, and the rest of the bozos who have not yet bought a single share of Geron with their personal money!! These facts are a puzzling and disturbing situation for all who have been holding Geron shares in the hope of success of IMET and confidence in what Janssen is doing. The question is: Willthe WS crooks prevail?

  • Everything posted is plainly junk!!
