yes a complete buffoon now what does that say about the American political system? only in America can a buffoon grow up to be President.
if the #$%$ was indicted the buffoon would make itto the white house.
but then again bush 2 was a moron and he got two terms
they get the trial back to where it needs to be re N value to drive the right power. if I am right about high drop out rates. Its not incremental N but lucky to hold the same N.
they increased the trail size from 400 to 433. likely t account for higher drop out rate. that's 8%.
when one is pot committed it is sometimes difficult to see the other side of the story.
if they do not PR results before the AGM, stop and ask yourself why that would be so. just three days from mid july.
best of luck to you..
p value is what falls out of the study results. study is powered to show a p value of 5 % or better lower % with an expected outcome of SOC 3.5 mths and aldox at 5.5 mths ( mPFS).
eg. if P value is .052 then the study is a fail. aldox can show improvement but fail to meet the 5% p value requirement.
if the results are SOC 5 mths and aldox 7 mrhs? that is a 2 mth improvement, but the result that proves success or failure is the resulting p value, if over 5% its a bust. In this example of possible outcome the p value will b greater than the 3.5 ad 5.5 result.
all this aside, ask yourself if the results can be available by mid july i.e. the 15th, why cannot they not be out by the 12th the date of the AGM? no PR of results by the 12th tells me its a fail as CEO does not want to address the issue at the AGM.
i found that awhile back
at this point in the trial, i look to what management does and says, and what is see tells me its likley a fail based on a missed p value. if they do not pr results before the agm that locks it for me.
best of luck
they need to report results as soon as they have them per SEC timely disclosure requirements of material events. But these are the same guys that retained the Dream Team, so its fair to ask can they be trusted to do the right thing?
ask yourself if the results are not ready by 12th but are by the 15th, how does that make sense? They do not want to face questions at the AGM in the face of a failed trial. If the trial is a pass they would want to bask in the glory at the AGM.
I hold CLDX shares, they got burned on a SOC outlier result in a PIII trial. they got the results Friday. they reported the next Monday before the open. They did not sit on them trying to understand how the SOC far exceeded historical norms, they simply came out with the bad news on a timely basis as required by the law.
simply higher for both arms - helps explain why 191 happened early april.
no one asked/ advised you to take my word for anything.
I do not bash or pump, simply offer my views.
I do not like the fact that the results will be late by 2 weeks. makes no sense to me. also do not like Haen's explanation for the delay.
my gut tells me trial will miss on the P value. aldox will be better but not by enough. large drop out rate could be responsible for the timing of the 191st event more so then the actual PFS times of the patients.
I hold July calls
