It takes 1,400,000 shares for this to bounce $.40 and then 100,000 to drop $.40?
I thought up on high volume was a good thing. We've had high volume up and low volume down. I don't understand how this thing corrects 15% while whole sector down 1-3%
Makes 0 sense
Quite possibly the worst analyst on WS. Negative on Gol and LFL at $2 and $5 now upgrading at $19 and $8, all the while downgrading AAL after correcting 13% on information known weeks ago during the rally.
Fwiw, if she has any credibility, the upgrade of LATAM is a good sign for AAL...anyhow, very questionable downgrade. So now we've had two downgrades based on relative outperformance. How about an upgrade based on relative underperformance the last two weeks !
I have AAL making well north of $5 next year, not sure #$%$ this eps slash is all about. Did we forget about the CC agreement already ??
Doug, I've stuck by you since 2005. However, this inability to maximize shareholder value is becoming a real problem.
Factoring in buyback this Q, UAL is nearly equal in MV while DAL is over $10b more !!
It's time to stop effing around and make us some returns !!
What does uncle think AAL can do by year end ? $38,39...7x7?
Or is it time to sell calls at any strike again ? $35.68 is a 10% exact correction from last Thursday's high...
Let me get this straight; the reason for the downgrade is "relative outperformance" yet the PT is raised 10%. Now, I'm what I'd consider an educated investor, but how do you explain this to a retail client. Effective immediately Mr Genoveisi will be known as "Hillary" Fish for talking out both sides of mouth at same time.
Nostra call this buttspeak...
Having been invested in LCC and UAUA for many years, I have an overwhelming sensation a breakout is at hand. Fwiw, I put in 2 orders to buy 1000 $40 calls for tomorrow around 3:15 and the stock instantly started to move higher into the close. I suspect a RASM improvement tomorrow spells $41-42 in very short order. As far as the analysts, come on....they are all complete idiots. Look at GOL all had sell , stock has gone from $2 to $24 all had sell.
This is going to $45 then $58 by next year. I'm very confident.
If you listened to this blathering idiot you'd be in a pawn shop right now.
with that said, buh bye for another year imbecile a#1 ;-) glad to see he still hates aal, will check back in january when it's $50
I an confused
Listen, you know the drill here. So does the street as AAL pares its loses significantly. When you see 'tard like behavior such as this from one of the greenest of airline analysts, a bottom is nye.
Doug Parker is a very smart man and NIRP = low energy and many years of cheap debt ahead. AAL will be $100+ in 2-3 years. Once he vacuums up as many shares as he wants this will become a hedge fund hotel, low float, huge volatility and high share price.
