What a jamoke you are. Ryan is the best thing the Repubs have had happen to them in the last 10 years, maybe longer.
LOL, anything but positive. AAPL starting on long, slow decline, no new innovations, only enhancements. The shine is off this rotten piece of fruit.
Sure, but you only lose $$ if you sell lower than you bought, otherwise the dividend will just provide more income.
You only lose if you sell lower, something Buffett has not done. He's very happy to hold and collect the dividend, and also watch the stock price climb over time.
Very well said by all posts on this topic. Analysts who do in depth analysis are indeed a very rare breed. Also read an article this week that IBM did not benefit from currency rates all that much, but still managed to produce great earnings. This stock is headed nowhere but up.
You're an idiot. The profit downturn in dollars, of course it is declining as revenues decline. But there will be a tipping point where IBM has a steady stream of revenue and high profit margins, which you don't believe mean anything. Catch a clue, please.
If IBM continues to produce good earnings along with dividends, being a smaller company in terms of revenue doesn't mean all that much. Sounds like a lot of people are pining for the old days when IBM was a $100 billion + revenue generator with lower profit/earnings. Those days are gone, time to encompass the new IBM which will be a cash machine and profit generator, the main things you are interested in.
