Look arbuorplace (formerly sfjlegend), I hold you in the highest esteem despite your minor personality quirks, but this email invitation I received from you yesterday on the Men's Stag Jamboree Au Natural--the one on the Russian River in Calistoga--might be a bit too wild for a man of my conservative temperament. Lounging in the mud baths with a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon did first pique my interest, but when you told me the night's entertainment was to be a city slicker guitar picker and an illiterate banjo player from the Blue Ridge Mountains (and no teeth to boot), well, I just had those nightmarish visions of pending doom, very similar to my reaction to ZNGA common stock. Yours is simply not my kind of deliverance. I do however hope you boys have fun. As they say, hold it between the poles.

  • I suspect that the major players--the London financial establishment, the Rothschilds of the world--know that if the vote is close, a very likely event, it is then easily rigged to appease the elite. All kinds of irregularities have already been reported at poll stations. Great Britain is no different than our own country in the sense that a small wealthy minority dictate the outcome. No matter the voting results, we are looking at huge volatility tomorrow in both equities and the pound exchange rates. There is also the chance that our own market sells on the news since an intact union is already fully priced in. There is zero room for error here if we actually have an honest vote. A surprise exit would be a psychological blow felt around the world.

Meanwhile, we witness one more in a long string of ZNGA roadkill bounces. Like all the others, it is a short term trade only, computer generated, and quite ephemeral. Watch for much excitement tomorrow.

Excellent--a man of my own spirit. I always wanted to do a self-guided trip on the Colorado, but with the lottery system, you likely wait many years (a decade) for that lucky number. Many of the great rivers are now restricted to ease the pressure of too many humans, including the Rogue and Hell's Canyon on the Snake. I'm assuming you will run Lava Falls on the Colorado. That's one rapid to especially respect. I assume you have watched the youtube videos. Here's one on my list with no lottery system. The Owyhee River, a tributary of the Snake It's a little known secret. Spring wilderness run completely dependent on snow runoff from the high desert. Current drought conditions pose obvious problems, so you need a good precipitation year. Stunning scenery comparable to the Colorado in many respects. There's only about a one month window on a decent year.
Summary: Short more ZNGA and embark on big adventures. Major league expeditions are best done before the age of 35. I've had my share. This life ride is so short so don't waste time with idle pastimes like ZNGA. Carpe Diem Baby! Have a great run on the river.

  • Please cue up today's ZNGA anthem found on this wonderful record. "Diamond Lil"

Go ahead and drink your whiskey
Run around and stay high all the time
It's your body and your soul
You save yours and I'll save mine

The straight life's just not your life
You can make your own rules
Shoot the dice and wear a blindfold
You're not afraid to look the fool

    A man should never gamble
More than he can stand to lose
    More than he can lose
    And it's hard coming down.

David Bromberg--right out of Marin County, San Anselmo I believe.

  • This is for designated high risk capital only, which is the entire brokerage account for most of you folks. High risk means high reward. I sense big trouble in my gut before this Friday's close, and on occasion I will trade based on pure intuition just like any good poker player. The profit potential is enormous for the above symbols, but so is the danger. These are short term trades to be liquidated early next week, or as soon as this Friday's close. Generally speaking, the longer you hold the above positions the greater the chance of losses, and possibly huge losses. Great trades for adrenaline junkies. If you can't handle this type of leverage and resetting properties, just remain short ZNGA because this junk is headed down. None of you are legitimate investors (ZNGA--are you kidding?), so let the speculation begin. This message is courtesy of my deep sense of altruism. What? First love one another. Simple, but not easy, especially with this crew.

I am certainly no computer wizard, but it's this simple:

  • Big water simply rings my cajones in a manner ZNGA could never accomplish. I'm probably now pushing the age envelope for the death defying Class IV and V (a la Cherry Creek in the early spring), but Class III plus is still within the realm of relative safety. It is likely that I camp the entire month of August at Camp Lotus, a rafting mecca in Coloma, CA. The South Fork of the American River is such a nice run with just the right degree of difficulty and adrenaline. Yes, I own all my own equipment--vintage, but expedition quality. I'm open to participation from Zngaphiles, long, short, or transgender. Experience helpful, but following instructions a must. I'm serious. September/early October is for the Trinity, Klammath, and possibly the Deschutes River. The South Fork of the American is only about a 3 hour drive from the Bay Area. Sobriety required for obvious reasons, since this is no booze cruise. When we are off the water you may indulge in Pabst Blue Ribbon or a few tokes of the monkey weed, but then only. I'll bring my waterproof ZNGA charts and we can hold them upside down for a buy signal. Contact via yahoo mail. SFJlegend (now arbuorplace) figured out how to do this, so there is a way.

I myself briefly attended Willamette University in Salem, Oregon until I was given the boot. Conformity is clearly one of my major shortcomings. I probably would have been a better fit with the pseudo intellectuals of Reed (in Portland), and I do know the quality of the drugs was better there. The women were also more promiscuous at Reed, no minor point for a college lad. My own son, a product of a long bicycle journey on the side of the globe, just graduated from the UC system. Here's the great irony of his background as it pertains to the ZNGA Brain Trust. He has a firm grounding in Economics (and English Lit.), but his specialty is forensic accounting, meaning he seeks out discrepancies (fraud) in a company's accounting methodology. Oh, that he could delve into the ZNGA numbers, and oh what a can of worms that must be. He's cranking away at this very moment in San Francisco at a new job, just blocks away from the ZNGA Brain Trust. Here's what I want him really to know. A rich and fully engaged life really has very little to do with money. It's all about a wide and varied range of rich experiences, and certainly has nothing to do with the ZNGA drugs. Yes, adventure it must be in exchange for so-called security. Live on the very edge, and take no prisoners.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • I have at no time made any attempt to disguise the fact that I am in the employment of a large hedge fund headquartered in Minnewaukan, North Dakota. Vulture Capital Management has a large short position in ZNGA common stock, and I am well compensated by the firm to sow fear, dissension, and paranoia here on the message board. My only actual qualifications in the field of finance are college degrees in English Literature and the German language. I also have a deep love of Shakespeare. In truth, I reside in a trailer park full of meth addicts and flatulent welfare mothers. I have never traded stocks in my life, as my regular SSI checks do not provide sufficient capital. I'm sorry to wear on your nerves with my incessant postings, but I am paid by the word much in the manner of Charles Dickens. Suffice to say, a tendency towards verbosity helps fund my current lifestyle. From the looks of today's ZNGA swoon, my prose is quite worthy.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • That stated, our stock market is running on fumes, so any excuse--however irrational--is sufficient to launch waves of selling. It is almost as if Wall Street is looking for a reason to liquidate stocks. Wall Street currently views an exit of Great Britain as a complete no go, but my own view is the vote is too close to call. The bottom line is that we will witness extreme volatility for the remainder of the week. Should the the exit fail to pass, we could even see a strong tendency to sell on the news. If you love drama and excitement, we will in any case have plenty of it. I'm betting my sweet bippy that ZNGA closes well under $2.50, so let's get ready to rumble.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Volume is my pet obsession because when all other things on Wall Street lie, volume cannot. I strongly anticipate a single session when let's say 70 million shares attempt to escape this comedy of errors. Unless you are a speculator, and I ultimately prefer investing over speculation though a participant of both, the exact timing is not a primary concern. Rest assured, that dark day of reckoning is coming sooner than most think. ZNGA's exit door is quite narrow, and when the herd of blind sheep attempt to escape, the extremely poor liquidity of this penny stock will be severely tested. The blunt force trauma can be somewhat appeased only if the ZNGA Brain Trust tosses its cash reserve (your cash in reality) at its own stock, and it is rather likely they will be forced to take this course of action in a last gasp effort to put a floor beneath the rout. This of course, is only a short term remedy, especially since there are a mere 1 billion shares in the float.

For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many ZNGA pangs.

Take note how Monday's pure technical reversal--the 5% upward trajectory--now quickly fades, and the shorts now profit. Please repeat this very important mantra:
"The only way to profit from a ZNGA roadkill bounce is to sell too early."
I would also point out that in terms of mathematical probability, this price action was highly predictable. The profit potential for this junk stock is quite high for the very adept day trader because of its high beta value. Here's one more high probability short term trade:
ZNGA will trade below $2.50 by Friday's close.
Longer term, we once again break below 200 pennies.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Recall that this absolute hype still carries a mere $1 billion dollar premium in its market cap over its liquidation value. I suggest, as I always have, that trouble first brews in the bond market, and then transfers to directly equities, and yes, real estate as well. The days of funny money now draw to a close, and it has been one hell of a ride since 2008. Junk stocks like ZNGA will be vaporized before this year is out. The alarm bells of deflation are now ringing loudly in negative bond yields all over the world in sovereign debt. The implications for the junk bond market are especially dire It will be a very nasty reality check. It is time to make very careful risk assessments.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • I know your deeds. You have the reputation for being alive, but you are dead. Wake up!
Strengthen what remains and is about to die.

Summary: Short more blocks of the ZNGA pestilence. I hear seven trumpets in the distance.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • He also awarded himself the majority of the voting shares through a special class of stock. So let's ask that most uncomfortable question. When does he ax 700 of the 1600 ZNGA techies? No one would know the difference in terms of so-called productivity. What the hell do all those bodies do on any given day? They're probably playing Candy Crush.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • I have the answer. Devang Shah, being a man of not only legalese, but spiritual inclinations, is practicing the Hindu concept of non-attachment and he must avoid the night soil which permeates the ZNGA Brain Trust. You can't really blame him for shunning this dog excrement. It all goes back to Sri Ramakrishna's notion of Maya. The illusion, delusion, and the veil of ignorance--all qualities of Maya--must now be removed. Yes, it gets quite ugly as ultimate truth is revealed. The Hindus also view Mathematics as a revelation of God, and ZNGA's numbers are particularly horrid. Kharma Yoga Baby! You shall reap that which you sow.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • You watch the SPY whether you own it or not. It is a key indicator. A few observations:
    1. The high of the day occurred very close to the opening, and then drifted lower.
    2. We closed very near the low of the day.
    3. We couldn't even surpass average daily volume.
Summary: Pump fake. ZNGA succumbs with the broad averages, and by a percentage factor of three.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • It won't. Let the sordid history of this junk stock speak for itself. I would also point out that 70% (or more) of today's volume was likely computer generated and the algos seek out momentum, not value. That's why a day speculator quickly reverses strategy and shorts today's much expected technical rebound. Profit taking in ZNGA common enters the picture tomorrow with high probability, but in any case, ZNGA likely breaks below $2.50 by this Friday. Don't attempt to achieve the exact outside price parameters. It is much safer to rest content with easy midrange points. The big boys currently obsess on the poll numbers coming out of Great Britain and this is really a very minor event for our own markets. The bottom line is that corporate earnings are in sharp decline here at home with a real chance of recession. Deflation, in no way erased, hints at something much more dire. ZNGA of course, has no earnings whatsoever, which is its ultimate undoing. So will it be Britexit or Zngexit? I'll bet on the latter.
Final Question: What does deflation inflict upon rotten debt, which we have plenty of?

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • It is the only profitable acquisition the multi-reincarnated CEO has ever made, and San Francisco real estate, both commercial and residential, is now fully immersed in an insane and unsustainable mania. Mr. Pinky should sell the building pronto, ax maybe 700 techies (idlers?), and then lease space required for the remaining bodies. This real estate bubble, like all previous bubbles, will implode in a most unpleasant manner, and of course, that event coincides with a bond and equities sell off. The window of opportunity for the sale is four months or less if Der Fuhrer wishes to reap maximum benefits. Pinky can then take the profits, boost the menu at the in house gourmet restaurant, and then hire more massage therapists. The latter will be in great demand once ZNGA is again trading below 200 pennies.

Greed kills with this travesty of a stock with zero earnings, so take the quick profit of 5%, and get the hell out. ZNGA roadkill bounces seldom have any staying power, and today's move is purely a technical reversal. Patience will always reveal other opportunities. Each and every trade is considered in terms of high mathematical probability, not a stab in the dark. A traditional value investor, now a dying breed, doesn't go near this rubbish, but a talented speculator can use it to profit from predictable swings. We are talking about speculating, not investing, so learn the difference. For those with a long term horizon, a short position will reap benefits because ZNGA will once again break below 200 pennies. Everything else, though potentially profitable, is mere rattle and hum.
