Not sure if link will post, but apparently Wells Fargo guys who wrote article think STX gained share in the 8TB space.
Gatrz, what do you think of Kazan's solution to latency problem? Seems pretty clever to me. (last para. in the NVMe over fabrics section) I sent same page to a younger brother who's an engineer for Motorola, wait Freescale, wait, NXP now and asked him what he thinks. He has yet to respond. Let's see if Yahoo will let me post the link...
My bad, make that $10.67 of debt per share paid off, though as Gatrz pointed out, it wasn't all from earnings.
When you subscribe to the Oracle Buoy Report, you'll find many unbelievable (because they're too good to be true) suggestions for spurious companies you COULD make money in! Don't leave it up to logic and fundamental analysis. Join up, like the B of A analyst did a couple years ago. You'll be sad you did!
Have several guesses as to who that would have been. (the guy with the tape paint all over his hands, arms, chest and face). Seems like he would have posted some rumor before he sold, but that's now out of the question as far as Yahoo is concerned, as it's "almost impossible" to get to the MB, Just about better this way.
Thanks, that works. I posted the Yahoo suggestion link (really looks like complaint link) in a "recent" conversation with VeeJay (Vsor) and the link was accepted (which is different). Will try to post it in following message just in case it doesn't work and makes this message go poof!
As with any gripe on a Yahoo message board, who in a position of influence will see this or regard it? It appears the die is cast and the game is over. Add this masterstroke to your resume, Melissa.
Hah! Well, I appreciated all your informed posts over the years and apologize for some of my off-th-wall stuff. Maybe we'll all meet again on an afterlife message board. -OS
P.S. This is gonna make it hard for you to get that case of Brand X beer.
One last introduction of political partisanship on a finance message board and BOOM! No more message board as we knew it.
From 50.81 to 42.18 ( -17%) in TWO trading days, June 24 and 27. I assume you were buying then, huh?
Go ahead, sell and limit your upside. Just more evidence of the pervasive short-term, immediate gratification philosophy some of us posters have been critical of in the past.
How about "broken rantard"? Same (or similar) stuff, expecting a different (or any) result?
What can you do about the situation besides post protestations on Yahoo Message Boards? Or are you inclined to take the easy way out and protest where it is not effective, then whine about the status quo?
You know I've defended you position occasionally, so it's not anything personal about you.
As you are a proven liar (stated you would never post after last Firday if sp was not where you claimed it would be), you have not only lost the respect of longs, you have lost respect of shorts also. Each time you post, you prove you are a liar.
"so they have people on the side sell lower" And who would those people be? What do you mean by "shorts "have" people sell lower"? Shorts payin' them or just trying to spread FUD to scare them into selling (as you may be)? Last question would be about your moniker, are those paper airplanes? Just curious.
Would paying down about $3.09 per share of debt/interest per share do anything for you?
Go ahead and take "Baraclude" every day for the rest of your like, as my ex-girlfriend is. She's of asian descent and evidently contracted it while she was young. Pay for it for the rest of your life, also.
You obviously don't have HepB (yet).
Explains why he sounds like Tweety Bird. Any guesses as to "who" just_chillin is going to come back as?
Guarantee someone that obsessed will not be able to stay away.
Have not read transcript or heard call, but seems analysts are all about DRAM pricing, which WDC's got nothing to do with. Back to my usual MO, with the analyst's tail-wagging-the-dog approach applied to WDC, it means that viewing analysts as dogs, with their tails leading, when they say "Woof!" it results in a noxious gas or something that needs to be cleaned-up.
