Where did the 18th show up? All I see is this:
"The special dividend is payable on December 31, 2014, to shareholders of record on November 20, 2014. "
I assume today is ex-div, but where is that noted.
I have the drop in share price showing up in my acct today, but no indication of divvy or shares. What is up with that?
This article calls BTE an MLP. I don't see anything on their website indicating that to be the case, and they mention a dividend and not a distribution. No K-1's sent out?
I was in BTE back when it was a Canadian Royalty Trust in 2006, in and out thru 2009, looking to get back in at these levels. Looks interesting again.
I assume the distribution is "in" the current stock price and will be deducted and trade lower like an ex-div in any other stock?
LOL...but traders and MM's don't care about long term investors. As long as it stays above that 22 level it should be fine. If Putin does more dumb schist, well....no telling.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
up 8.5% in 30 days wouldn't hurt me in the least.
I swapped out of LINE and into LNCO before the first of the year to simplify tax time.
Does anyone "trade" MLP's? If you trade in and out of MLP's seems like it would be a nightmare at tax time.
and yet quarter after quarter, year after year they DO keep paying 0.50, and now showing very nice profit.....DOH!!! tough to be you!!!
Is the monetary value of the new units that we will receive in SPH already "baked into" the units of NRGY?
I should get roughly 192 units of SPH valued at about $7200 at current pricing. Will NRGY units be dropping a similar amount on the date that we get the SPH units to reflect that "gain" in SPH units.
I also own a little AROW for the long run, in an IRA account....and even bought a few shares in my daughters account. Looks like about as safe a place to be these days as anywhere, and the combination of cash and shares for the dividend is nice for long term growth.
I have been into NRGY (actually started as NRGP) for a good long while through the up and now down...and hopefully the next UP!
There were no shares to short today through Fidelity.
Maybe there are some shares to short somewhere else, but it looks like just sellers throwing out this dirty dishrag.
<<<Not a secondary but a sale of shares already owned same as SDT sale earlier. Good way to raise cash on stock appreciated value. >>>>
It seems to me that a better way to appreciate value would be to try and sell the shares over several days AT MARKET, rather than undermarket by a buck+. The idiots.
Tell you what...anyone want to sell me their shares right now at a dollar thirty less than the current NBBO price?
Unless things have really changed for the worse very recently, there is a J P Morgan Presentation on the FGP website from just a couple of months ago stating they were is great shape.
I didn't add any new shares yet, I have as many as I really want.
However, the call options are priced basically at face value for the units. So, I bought a few Feb 2012 $20 strikes for $1.05. If there is any rebound in price in FGP between now and then I will get an almost instant dollar for dollar gain.
I am surprised that the pps didn't drop by more than it did with the div announcement.
that shows us just how IMPORTANT that yield is right now. folks, like me, need a higher return and are willing to stick with little nicks and bumps to keep the money flowing.
K-Fine touted GLNG on Fast Money again on Monday evening...calling it one of her (three) best ideas for 2011.
May sniff me up a small position.
