    I bought 4000 shares at $5.75 Yesterday

Sell all but 166 shares and take a free ride.
Or if you won't be starving your kids if you make the wrong choice, ride it out.

You have to ask the question, what could this company do wrong to make the stock go down much more from here?

They are in one of the hottest sectors there is, and they seem to be doing the right things.

  • Is this going to be the Q that they actually beat their numbers and say something positive, or is this going to be more of the same old. They need someone who can actually talk and be positive to run their calls... or maybe more so, the company.

I was looking for some info on Fusion IO's new FX Cards and found this video on youtube:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjKQfMzUIWU

I am not sure why but it made me laugh. I don't think they are comparing apples to apples here, but the music and fast slides are so very exciting.

  • Summit and Synergy start in San Francisco on the 7th. You know Mark is holding everything back for that and I'm sure he has some wowers up his sleeve.
Cramer does not know of this factor.

  • EPAM is in the right place at he right time. I don't know much about their managment, but if they are good, this thing should be a winner for a long time.

    CTXS going out of business

    by patroutman Apr 26, 2012 11:39 AM

Speaking of measurable alpha, are you still doing any skiing or is the snow gone?

  • VMware is putting them out of business, no wait... Microsoft is going to squash them by not allowing them to renew their licenses, or no Cisco is going to crush them with Webex, GoToWhatever has no place in this world, or wait Dropbox and Box.net are so much better than Share File, oh yes and Riverbed and F5 are going to take Citrix's NetScaler business away...
Or what is the story again?

Let's face it CTXS has made it a long way since WinFrame. This company is killing it. Second week of May should be very interesting.

    SELL NOW

    Ha ha
    These guys are killing it.

Snyergy is going to be really interesting.

  • LOGM gets no love because all the people that follow it are also following Citrix which is much more interesting to listen to and has its call at that same time.
Looks like a good Q, but CTXS is completely crushing it.

I still hope someone scoops up LOGM for a big premium.

  • This Q doesn't usually get a ton of news because they hold the cats in the bag until their Synergy/Summit events in San Francisco in two weeks.

  • I feel like no one follows this company.
Anyone have any idea what is happening with them?
    Lots of great free products.
Is anyone buying the pay to play products?

How are their AAPL related product sales doing? Are they still a popular seller? OR have the big kids on the block taken over that game?

What is next for this company?

Do they have any value to a larger company? I used to think so, but now wonder more and more who would buy them as this segment becomes more and more full with players. Still maybe Dell or HP, Oracle, SAP, or the likes. Even CRM?

    Just looking for some thoughts.

Amazon rollings out SSD World Wide

From working with FIO I am pretty sure it is them, however I don't know that for sure because Amazon uses XenServer and to my knowledge there still isn't a 64bit Dom 0 which is required to support the drivers of the FIO Cards.

I hope to learn that they finally have support. Knowing Amazon, they probably wrote their own code and drivers.

Rename the Company! OCZ isn't working.

That would seriously be the most fantastic thing I have seen a public company do. It would be absolutly meanless, cost nothing, and generate so much publicity that it would be priceless.

And it is down right funny.

    Good call.

Ha ha. I often forget that I own this stock, then I see that one of my stocks is up 20% and get all excited only to realize that it is Franklin...

I still have some hope for them, but at this point I need a lot more than 20% just to get back to even.

Hopefully things are ramping up again and we'll here some news about new products and new partnerships, etc. No reason we shouldn't see 5 or more if they can show us some consistency.

  • Folks - Please start sending emails asking them to consider renaming the company to something a little more sexy and relevant. As silly as it is, it would make a big difference. IO seems to be catchy, but really anything would be better than OCZ.
    NANDisk
    LightSpeed
    StorageSpeed
    Enterprise IO
    PureSpeed IO

    Something, anything, just not OCZ.

I bet the stock would take off. Stupid, but likely.

I am buying this company. I like Fusion IO better for their high end products, but there is a place for OCZ as well. I just don't see how either of these companies stay stand alone for very long. This is the future of servers and even consumer based devices. Spindles and RPMs are very 1990ish.

Do hotspots cause more cancer than smartphones?

    by jail_4_ceo Apr 11, 2012 1:05 PM

Don't keep your "hot spot" in your front pocket and it won't be a big deal. However, it is a great way to pick up ladies on the bus.

  • Any folks who are on the design side or engineering side, do you have a feel for the value of OCZ's technology? What is the barrier to entry at this point for the others who do not have this technology in pocket?
For example, would Seagate and WD be best suited to buy OCZ, or just create their own competing products?
It seems like other folks are coming out of the Woodwork with SSD and PCIe storage, but clearly all storage is not created equal. In addition it seems like it is more the software, firmware, and controlers that add the real value.

Anyway, I am sure this has been talked about before, but just looking for some fresh insight and opinions.

I really feel like this company is a screaming buy, but I am wondering what I am missing.

u guys wasting money on ocz

I like QDOBA, and at this point, I'd rather own JACK that CMG. If value is what you are looking for, JACK is where you want your money.

Yes, you should own some FIO, but why not grab some OCZ too. They are different enough to make it worth owning both.

Would you say that folks were fools for buying some AAPL back in 1999 when MSFT was ruling the world? Maybe AAPL wasn't even second best back then, but fast forward 15 years and I'd say you would be pretty glad you owned some.

I will be the guy who has no shame and asks...

    What is TLC?

Can someone give a simple explanation?

    Thank you!
