Eskimo...I respect your due diligence on this...In late 2014/early 2015 my analysis and exposure/ownership in NPTN showed many parallels between NPTN then and ACLS now...NPTN moved from 2.50-3.00 up to more than $10 and eventually $14 -- granted I liquidated from about $5 to $11 -- it was a 3-bagger for me. These are rare I know, but I think this is set up for a potentially pretty big move. Eskimo, is there a discreet way for us to communicate off this board?? Thanks
Bought a bit more near today's lows, equivalent of 2.43 pre-split, expect $11-$12 within next month or so.
The down path was long and more severe than I expected, now that we're turning I would expect mo-mo and institutional buying to be consistent and continue well above $16 over time...could be quickly, I'd suggest buying dips (I will be)
I'm only reading this in bits and pieces...so I'm not even sure how this comment will be taken. But why is this all about taking the high moral ground...it's just about us (humans) making silly (but, to us, important) bets with our hard earned dollars on (irrelevant, short-term) price movements...should all pets: goldfish, dogs, cats, horses, whatever be expected to be placed in their 'perfect environment'? Aren't there thousands of domestic animals (and children, for that matter) in horrible environments with (some) horrible owners (probably a 'politically incorrect' term: 'owner')
Seems to me, these animals cannot and should not be returned to the wild, obviously.
Seems like SEAS is dealing as best it can in the CURRENT circumstances.
I am confident this stock will be $16+ and will not (in the next 2 years) be below $13.
So...I'm saying, from an investment scenario, we may be 8% down from here (worst case) and WILL be up 21% (plus w divvy another 6-12%) So a likely gain of 30% from these levels in
Private Equity, Management, or a competing Amusement Company can Unlock Value.
At this price, I see a compelling argument that SEAS could SOON see a buyout at or near $20.
The valuation per park is at unseen and unreasonably LOW valuation.
Disclosure: Longer today buy about 2600 more shares, at 13.60-ish, Total long 8500 avg cost $15ish
Underwater in SEAS ;-) for now
