Excellent - should result in a little run up into earnings at some point.
Blackberry used to be the thing to have - now, I don't know anyone who even has one. Slowly, but surely, the smart phone (which Steve Jobs invented) is becoming a commodity, like a PC. Not this year, but soon. I'm sure Steve Jobs will come up with something else - oh wait, he passed away, and Tim "Stock Buyback" Cook is in charge. Good luck.
Why would anyone eat there until they figure out what is wrong and fix it? Except maybe to file a lawsuit.
Unlikely - $26 is in the rear view mirror until the next recession anyway - won't see $26 for months / years
The trade was at 4:05:38 and was a late settlement of the standard trading session - large sale at the close - they needed a little extra time to match up buy and sell orders . My buy order (limit 16.02) was filled at 16.00
Can't you hire 25 engineers at $150k per and get something similar in a year or so?
That's why - I don't even know what "Whatsapp" is - I guess the Zuck thinks it's worth 16B!
If you bought 1 call, I would short 100 shares of NFLX immediately. If NFLX goes up to $450, your call option can cover the shares and you would only lose $8 per share max. If things aren't as boisterous in the morning, you could make out big. I wouldn't short anymore than the number of calls you have.
He told you that so he could sell his shares to you - looks like it worked out very well for him.
A guy who took the world leader in cell phones, and turned them into a has been - let Apple, Samsung and LG take over - and who took the stock from over $40 to the "single digit midget" it is now? Great, let me get rid of all my shares first.
according to Edsel Ford, who will pay up to keep him at Ford. People are starting to figure out that anyone who is a great CEO wouldn't want to run this company, and people who are willing to run this company aren't up to the job. Like trying to find a Coach for the Bad News Bears - why else do you think it is taking this long?
same deal, #$%$ quarter, but filled the gap (hit the closing price) the very next morning before finishing slightly lower. Look at the data. The "buy the dip" crowd will gladly pay $23 - $23.50 tomorrow at some point, easy 10% from here, happens time after time with stock after stock.
...they are exposed as the frauds that they are. Happens to a few per year. Salvage what you can, chalk it up to experience. Have any of you actually every used a product from NQ Mobile (thought not...)?
