Hello, old friend. Hope this finds you and yours well. Still in God's waiting room, I presume. Recently the wife has been "hinting" about the advantages of ditching the cold and becoming a 'snowbird". Nothing on the board seems to have changed for the better in the last couple of years I see.
Looking back over a couple of my 'calls' and it seems they were slightly prophetic.

Years and years ago I and several others on this board strongly suggested JCPenney take advantage of a unique advantage they had over the competition - - - - a working symbiotic relationship between Catalog, Internet, and Brick and Mortar - - - - - why would anyone feel they have to choose one over the other - - - a company should utilize them all - - - - of course now we have a cutesy buzzword name "omni-channel" - it's on everybody's radar - - - I believe it's around 15% of purchases today are internet - - 10% are catalog and 75% are still brick and mortar - - - those percentages WILL CHANGE and the wise retailer will be astute enough to find and follow the trend ..
I also had suggested emulating WalMart's online strategy of linking to third party suppliers for product placement and fulfillment.(Such as they're currently doing with appliances)
