Two officers usually don't bail at the same time- as we all know, "resign" is often a euphemism that allows a person to maintain his or her pride.
What we do know is that HPQ and Carbon3D did not end up coming out with technology that was particularly competitive to DDD. Sure, their respective tech is fast, but can only be used to a few materials and in limited color- not enough to make much of a dent in DDD (or SSYS) sales. Regardless of how fast an AM technology is, material and long-term resistance is still equally important.
It looks as if Joshi has done his homework and is cutting fat in all the right place. Should be an interesting year.
