  • My mother took her 2008 Impala in to see if she could trade for a new Impala, hers has only 35K on it and is stored in her garage and is spotless and dealer serviced. They offered her such a low trade in value she told the dealer that she will never do business with them again. And she has bought over 6 cars from the same dealer. I took her to the Mazda dealer where they actually offered her fair price and she is considering a new Mazda 6

Jeye so speed laws mean nothing to you? if that is correct you are a moron and don't care about public safety. And please stop pumping your Impala, where I live they sell so poorly you'd be disgusted with the sales numbers. Its getting harder to understand your posts Jeye, are you okay?

Sorry not buying your reasons for such speeds. On a controlled race track it is one thing but public roads are not built for such speeds. One mistake and someone is injured or killed. I have seen the aftermath of a high speed car hitting a deer, not pretty two people dead and the police said in the media they estimated the speed of the impact over 140 mph.

Please tell what is the sense of a 200 mph car when the speed limit is 75 in some states? Here in Canada if caught travelling at 200 mph you and your car go straight to jail and the police impound area. Only a total idiot would drive at speeds the Cadillac and others cars can achieve without any regard for public safety. The government should limit the top speed of all vehicles except police, military and emergency vehicles.

" President Obama took a swipe at the VFW on Wednesday by linking our opinion on the economy to rightwing media that’s “pumped into cars and bars and VFW halls all across America,” he said."

Are you stating that you are a member of the VFW? What service were you in Jeye?

And sadly as so many veterans are abandoning the VFW and natural laws reduce their number the veterans have a smaller say in politics. Here in Canada the Royal Canadian Legion ( same as VFW) is so desperate for members to keep the posts open they've opened up membership to anyone. Still the posts are closing since they are mainly for cheap beer and a pool game. Our nearby post is very close to closing its door for good since the police have really cracked down on drinking and driving.

There are far to many immigrants in both the USA and Canada that will vote Left wing or socialist whichever term you prefer, the old order is quickly dying off. Get used to change and socialism Jeye its coming and your one vote means nothing in the sea of immigrants in our countries that will soon dictate the path of governments for years to come.
