I thought it would NEVER end....it was awful.
Half the amount of Playstations.....HALF. No wonder Stevo retired.....
Just a few short miles from Sea World San Diego you can find research labs that "consume" multitudes of guinea pigs, mice, chimpanzees (when they can afford it) and believe it or not, some species of dog. They call the facilities that house these animals vivariums, and the practice of killing them....vivisection. Sea World has agreed to house their Killer Whales for the balance of their lives...whether they perform or not. I applaud Sea World and condemn PETA for doing little or next to nothing to address the slaughterhouse Biotechs of San Diego County.
Take the Silver Surfer for example. Jack Kirby and Stan are sitting around mulling things over and Jack sees one of his son's surfing trophies. It's the silhouette of of a surfer riding a wave mounted at the top of a base....and it's silver-coated just as you would expect. And there you have-it, The Sliver Surfer franchise, and Disney is just stupid enough to pay top-dollar for it. Unbelievable.
Apparently the filthy employees with their tattoos and piercings have poor hygiene. These "kids" aren't washing their hands enough. Perhaps they should try hiring adults.
Just have to wait for the Chipotle Toxins to work their way through his system
But the FBI knows different....it's just Apple doing their theatrical version Sargent Shultze, "I know Nut-ing"
Not exactly....one material has been shredded or effectively destroyed; in Apple's instance, it's simply inaccessible...
I wish the Chinese Dragon would keep it's smokestack-spewing fire breath to itself, but that's not the way our wonderful planet works. The winds just blow and blow, right into our back yards. Thanks China.
I like that analogy....but what about this....An extremist has a Hamilton Safe at his "compound". It's loaded with sensitive stuff and the FBI wants Hamilton Safe to assist in cracking it without damaging the sensitive material inside. Shouldn't Hamilton Safe be bound to assist? With a fee of some sort of course, we aren't Communists here.
I read it....nothing to do with taxes, everything to do with privacy. The United States is the most Trust-Happy country in the world, but also the Trust-Worthy, so it's AOK
It wasn't his or her service to government that caused the Agent to attempt to unlock that phone himself, it was owning an IPhone his or herself that developed that arrogant, know-it-all attitude that is so pervasive in the Apple EcoSphere. Same thing you see at the Genius Bar, where some snotnosed kid tells you he knows everything about everything, except how to use Proactive to clear up his face.
They are welcome to-it. But they must copy it to a faster, higher-capacity hard drive at their expense and give that back-to-me for my trouble.
The year is 1816, Tambora had erupted the previous year dirtying up the atmosphere, and the result was the "Year Without a Summer". Really cold temperatures, crop failures, people (not knowing it was a one-and-done event) fled New England thinking that if it could get THAT BAD in New England, I had better get outta here. It sped up Colonization of the continent significantly. So it's real, or are you saying that didn't happen?
The Attorney General took those chocoholic Swiss Bankers to-school. Remember the mythology of the notorious secret Swiss bank account? How the Swiss would NEVER surrender your banking information to anyone, foreign or domestic, and their vaults and information was sacrosanct? Well, the AG made things crystal clear to the Swiss , we will forbid you from doing business with any entity residing in the United States and will label Switzerland a "pirate nation", if you persist in assisting US citizens and entities in committing tax evasion and fraud on the US government. And we all know what happened next, the Swiss knowing they would be destroyed by any non-compliance, quickly ended their banking secrecy criminal ennoblement and there are no more "secret" Swiss bank accounts. I hope Apple has an idea of who they are dealing with in the government, when it comes to National Security, the AG will accept no refusals.
I believe that climate change is real, I disagree that there is actually something that can be done about it at this late juncture. We crossed the "tipping point" around 1986 or so...roughly 30 years ago. So what we need to concentrate on is adapting to climate change, don't fight Mother Nature, adapt to her. Modify crops to thrive in warmer temperatures, desalinate more ocean water to compensate for droughts etc. etc. etc. It's cute hearing the scientists spewing the outright LIE that the tipping point hasn't been reached yet, giving people the hope that they can do-something about it. It's the same as quitting smoking AFTER you get lung cancer, it helps, but won't change the inevitable.
I'm reading that it was the San Bernardino County Health Dept. IT Dept. that changed the password. I was surprised to hear that the San Bernardino County provides new IPhones for it's people, I could've sworn that San Bernardino had financial problems.....being a government employee is clearly the way-to-go these days.....low stress, decent pay and plenty of perks.
I proclaim him guilty of treason and would encourage the Federal Government to assemble a firing squad and have him executed. In the spirit of William Tell, they should put an Apple on his head before they fire and keep firing until someone misses.
Reminds of Qualcomm's lame argument about how "secure" CDMA data packets were in the cellphone universe. Like anyone, anywhere would find your conversations remotely interesting. Now,on the other hand, if you're cheating on your spouse, or planning the overthrow of the United States maybe encryption tech might be a concern to you. Apple needs to comply with this court order, or I would like Tim Cook arrested for treason.
