btw: I am sure you saw the oil inventory buildup news release this afternoon after close of market...hmmm...wonder if someone else you watch and follow predicted that ?
Thx for insulting me...I am by NO means knowledgeable as even you are..otherwise I would not be posting on this 'informed' board...I am just airing my thoughts for discussion... btw: maybe you can search the archives and see what T Boone Pickens predicted for oil prices in 2014 and 2015 and see how inaccurate his call on the Con channel was... but to each his own...hard to believe that just because someone says something..it is a gospel...I guess you trust and believe the media and whatever it feeds you and make your investment decision based on whatever someone is pumping on the con channel..I am sure you also follow and invest based on what a bumbling idiot like boo yah Cramer BS's...
your mouth to scam streets ears...My calculations came up with mid teens valuation...but with dilution , cash burn and its viability to survive the downturn has given me winter chills to add more here...but hope you are right...
Unfortunately T boone cannot move the stock...no one trusts his calls or judgement anymore..and he pays to get on the scam channels these days...the 'paid media' is something I avoid...like fixed news or con and b conned channel..the Q is its viability to survive the downturn...not convinced on adding to the position here...maybe the cc after earnings may tell the story...
Scam street thinks it is headed for BK...some analysts think that buying put options is the right strategy because the stock is going to take years to recover... I keep scratching my head..they have shed business, people on payroll and raised reasonable amount fo cash which scam street thinks is not enough to last thru the downturn... stock down from 25 to 5...down 80%...so what does one do ? punt and pray? average down here? or just sit on the sidelines....other then CSFB ..no one is positive on the stock...any thoughts?
Until the analysts continue to scare the investors and keep telling them that WFT is getting ready to file for BK...I have been long...just not sure at what price to average down...
no juice..no catalyst... volume did precede price and it drifted down to the low 8's...nothing is moving this stock ..no news, no catalyst for now...would like to add more to my position ..just not sure where this puppy is headed...mgt. does not seem to care for enhancing shareholder value...
they have been adjusting the target down from 25 to 35...now to 15-25...the stock is treading water until the acquisition is completed and the synergies reflected in the results...until then it looks like dead money...imo...
I want to add more to my position but not until a catalyst emerges...
but this kinda volume is driven by scam street players not retail investors..so wondering what the big boys know or are doing... my long term target is in the high teens provided there are no hiccups in the integration of the acquisition...
agree...bad Brexit sentiments driving down the broad market..but it will be a non event...just noise...and markets should recover next week...high volume again today... either accumulation or distribution...next week price action may reveal something...for now..scratching my head..
in an up market ...volume precedes price... no idea about the large volume since Monday...yeah there was an upgrade by a non event brokerage house...they can't move the stock price...the scam street operators must know something... today is also double the normal volume...anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this ?
how is this a dilution? new stock was already issued and the cash raised thru that offering is being used to retire the debt so they do not violate the covenants... maybe I am an ignorant guy...and hopefully you can explain how this is dilution?
Walgreens launches two new APIs for developers; positive for APIC.
Last week, Walgreens (WBA, Willoughby, Outperform) launched two new
application program interfaces (API) designed to extend the company's
developer efforts and accelerate its digital transformation, which we believe
has positive implications for APIC (Outperform, TP$17). The two APIs
include: (1) a store locator API, which enables more real-time and accurate
store location data and (2) digital coupon API, which enables customers to
'clip' coupons to their loyalty cards from third-party apps. Recall that APIC
provides the API platform for Walgreens and has helped the company
launch several successful APIs since 2012, including its QuickPrint API,
which allows customers to print photos from their mobile devices, and its
Prescriptions API, which significantly improves the customer experience for
prescription refills and transfers. We believe that Walgreens' continued
expansion of its API and developer program validates the ongoing digital
transformation trend of traditional brick-and-mortar business. In addition,
Walgreens' expansion of its API initiatives with two new APIs is evidence of
the leadership position of APIC's API mgmt. platform and its successful
execution against its 'land and expand' strategy as its customers migrate
their digital transformation strategies through the 'project to program to
they have to position it for an exit..because it is very hard for a small company to have scalability and survive independently in the long run...they get no traction a such un less they have explosive top line growth..otherwise a micro cap remains a microcap...and then they lose pricing power and get hit on their margins...
Agree..like the space...it is the unknown not widely followed or understood technology by scam street...the mgt. needs to do a better job explaining the biz on the road show and numerous conferences coming up where they will be presenting... mgt. otherwise is mostly ex IBM..and probably dressing it up for a quick exit of sorts...
csfb raised target to 17...they liked the results...and the CCall..obviously market does not..look at the #$%$ on scam street...took it to 11.95 at the open only to tank it down to 10 and change shortly thereafter on big volume..who knows...where this puppy goes..
