Do you know if Apollo was associated with any of their current lenders?

Tried to add more in the afternoon, but nobody would give it up for less than 2.34. Stalemate lasted for 3 hours..... Hoping price settles lower for short-term next week.

I added today. I don't think he is BS'ing, "We are progressing on a number of fronts related to the completion of the audit and refinancing of our debt, and this commitment letter is an important step in the overall process." I am betting that the total refi happens in a shorter time span than you project. The key, as always, will be if they can convince investors that the future is bright. This company is well positioned in a growing industry, and frankly it has been poorly managed until the last year. Investors will take note and respect the new management team. Based on your posts I know you are Pro UNITEK, but I think even you will be surprised when the curent year numbers are finally posted. Sure they will clean the books of good will etc. I am talking about operatons. I worked directly for Gately and in the same sphere as Romanella, they will have kept their thumb on operational improvement. Enjoy the ride, they are just shifting gears.

P Jac, I think the shock and awe of the 2012 statement is priced in. The forecast will be the driver. If they want to refi at a good rate, the 2nd half of 2013 needs to be really good operationally. If they pull this out the upside is big.

Also, I have a lot more trust now than when this thing exploded.

A lot of people were with you. Still a lot of work to do, but I think this was more than just about the loan and it's connection with Direct TV. To secure this loan Romanello's comments about the underlying strength of the business must have merit. I'm betting the profit takers and day traders are gone, and the stock walks up to the $3.5 - $4.0 range over the next month. Especially If they get their statements filed, and this year looks good on paper operationally.

Do you think they are planning on Chapter 11, or just heading that way? Why not just pull the trigger on chapter 11 now? Just curious as to your thoughts.

I have been following this of late, and it looks to me like the main problem or topic is the Forbearance agreement. It expired on the 30th and "could be" extended to July 10th I believe. It looks like mr. market is awaiting the outcome with the only trading being done by small investors and day traders. If anyone has news on this that I am unaware of please share. The statements are also an issue. For example they have readjusted their adjustment which is never good. Also, lots of mixed messages. Reading Moody's, you would think bankruptcy in right around the corner, while the company is planning growth in the 2nd half. I understand management can be overly "optimistic" at times, but that is quite a difference.

He "retired" after he knew he had position. I was told he had to agree to terms with UPS before he could take the job.

I worked for Rocky at UPS. Layers beneath. The word is, he left because he wanted to be a CEO, and at UPS it was not going to happen. The current CEO is not going anywhere soon, based on rumor, and his replacement has already been tapped. Rocky was always successful in whatever he did, and I know the company was not happy to see him go. Great motivator and innovator. If he can get past this load of garbage that got dumped on him he will make things happen.
