Then show me were in Flounder original post mentioned the $600MM you brought up........ Why do you need to change the parameters when the tides of reason turn on your dim witted logic? tpg...... don';t be rodent stupid.

witty retort....... glad to see you admitted defeat in such a typically passive aggressive manner.

No...... so a inner city neighborhood that the predominately (white, Hispanic, black or Asian) that is target for high crime is not equal? The Constitution says no such thing..." Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

No academic freedoms are lost and putting a check on the good ole boy system of tenure is a good thing. Funny how you support the good ole boy network in academia, but cry foul in the back room deals of the people who support ideas your thought shepherds disagree with. Once again Flounder, you have the consistency of values that waver in the mild breeze of reason.

Flounder... an other well reasoned response. People can say what they want about you, but you are constant.

"Our government should target people of a specific religion, he’s saying. Our government should send police into neighborhoods—and, let’s be blunt, homes—where Muslims live and … “secure” them. This is scary stuff, or it should be." do police "target" high crime areas?, do police "target" areas where the citizens demand action? Do police "target" areas with a high density of bars/taverns for DWIs? Targeting a public area is common place....... neighborhoods and private residences are two separate issues. Would you want your neighborhood "targeted" if a serial killer was preying on your block? Flounder whom ever wrote your ideas is making "much ado about nothing". and confusing public and private rights and liberties.

" I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky." at least give the misogynist hero of Flounder due credit for his words. The whole quote is better yet in its dismissive superiority of progressive elitism. No wonder HRC comes off as such a condescending dime bag, she is modeling her comments after her husbands. Bill could get away with it because he was likable to the vast majority of voters, HRC is a wholly unsympathetic cartoon.

Don't care about previous cuts...the Flounder stolen article was about the $250MM over two years. tpg, stick to the issue the resident ignoramus Flounder brings up.

  • slugboy85 slugboy85 Mar 22, 2016 2:28 PM Flag

So Flounder, $250MM over two years for ALL state universities?..... that is just about the cost over two years for a big ten school's "compliance" costs. Trim the red tape of compliance on local, state and federal levels that affect UoW and budget "cut" solved for all institutions in the state and a surplus. If you were not so willfully ignorant and willing to think for yourself.... I bet you could find other cost savings to offset the loss of tax payers monies. I will take care of thanking Rebecca from Slate for your stolen ideas for you Flounder.

Obama opening up the microphones during a press conference and putting Raul in a position to answer questions from the media was the highlight of his presidency. Having his picture taken in front of a Che mural not so much. But like everything about Obama..... one step froward and three steps back on being the leader of the free world. Since I did not listen to Chairman Obama's speech today, what was so offensive?

Yep cost money for HRC's stylist pant suits, controlling WJC's affairs and soon to keep the current 1st lady traveling in the style she has grown accustomed while.vacationing. Carter should have to pay back anything he has received from the tax payers in a fair and just world, but that is just sour grapes on my part for the soon to be known second worse President of the modern era behind BHO.

  • slugboy85 slugboy85 Mar 18, 2016 3:16 PM Flag

Congress (the voice of the people) is doing there duty and if you would study the history and founding doctrine you would know that.. but alas you are in the same willfully ignorant camp as Flounder.

  • from Federalist 69 on the powers of appointment "In the national government, if the Senate should be divided, no appointment could be made;..."

Come on Flounder, the basis of the expanding role of government is based on Hamilton's arguments in the Federalist Papers..........yet even Hamilton and the writings which became commonly accepted as the foundation of the "understanding and meaning" of the US Constitution does not support the vote on a SCOTUS nomination at this time.

Flounder, if you go back a read the paper (I doubt you will)........please take the time to understand the role the NY Governor and the King of England at the time in Hamilton's writings influenced the debate and why he held that ", if the Senate should be divided, no appointment could be made".

Flounder at the very least, she as the head of the DoS violated " Individuals who believe that information in their possession is inappropriately classified, or inappropriately
unclassified, are expected to bring their concerns to the attention of responsible officials" She being the position she was in should have know the information was sensitive -- she is not a layperson but an "expert" in matters of the state.

even NBC news in July cite emails in the early released batch of 40 that were classified.

  • slugboy85 slugboy85 Mar 10, 2016 4:16 PM Flag

"The e-mails were not classified" ???? better go and fact check that........ you are wrong.

  • slugboy85 slugboy85 Mar 10, 2016 4:15 PM Flag

So... where is the bad news? if CC is " now unstoppable" embrace it and enjoy the dynamic "world" it will bring about........ just like our grand parents saw the world change due to technology....... we if we live long enough will get to see the world change in other ways due to technology.......... Flounder....... like Disturbed sang "It seems you're having some trouble
In dealing with these changes, living with these changes
Now the world is a scary place
Now that you've woken up the demon in me

Get down, come on, get down with the sickness
Get down, come on, get down with the sickness
Get down, come on, get down with the sickness"

enjoy the ride Flounder, enjoy the ride.........

While HRC plays the semantic game over "marked classified" she did in fact send and receive "classified" messages over a private server that was not "secured" as per the requirements at the Dept. of State or any other agency where the documents originated.

For a respectable person "The appearance of impropriety" would have been enough to exclude themselves from running for public office ---- but the unlikable, unethical and truly ego centrist HRC see herself above the ethics for the common man.. She in her view as I see it FEELS she is entitled to be president.

I will put the legal "intelligence" of the lawyers I know over those you know, even the most leftist of attorneys I know belief on the surface she broke the "spirit" of the law and not enough has come to light to say the "letter" of the law to date. I would have to think I know more DA's(city, county and fed), county, state and Federal Judges and more partners at major law firms than you. And since it was your challenge-- I don't recall your mentioning you have a law degree either.

How are urban view, the grateful dead, npr, bbc and backspin on sirus/xm equal to hate radio? I can see you thinking urban view and back spin are hate radio since you are a racist........but hippie and commies as well? Go get that hockey helmet Flounder, you are going to need it as your world closes in on you.

Carrie Dann would see your theft of ideas as plagiarism in all likelihood since "your" words are hers. But then again she might just be a collectivist like yourself and not care her work was "used" without crediting the creator.

religion does not agitate me..... I don't care what other belief as long as there believes stop before they knock on my door. I'm just pointing out you claim religion is the opiate of the masses yet use religion if it furthers your agenda. You stand for nothing of concrete value and therefore are the equivalent of a leaf in the wind intellectually. If you had thought about you could have come up with an analogy true to your cited beliefs yet are too dim witted and willfully ignorant to articulate a philosophically coherent line of reason...... Flounder, you better go get a hockey helmet, you are boarding on beating your head against the wall disabled.
