The worm believes that your post is not a separate person posting. He doesn't want to recognize the 'melting ice cube' purchase of DTV. More than one person can see that DTV will turn into an AOL rerun but the Worm and the blind squirrel at the helm will get run over by truck as DTV's market barrier collapses.
Verizon has arrived at radio specifications for 5G with expected commercial deployment beginning in 2017. 5G, DOCSIS 3.1 and G.fast etc all going to blow the data pipeline for streaming TV/video wide open and the convergence of ISP competition will then bring unlimited data plans with it. Pay TV bundling margins then implode and with it goes the cash flow in DTV biz. AT&T just getting pushed up by dividend chasers not bothering to DD the pay TV bundling industry that AT&T ignorantly bought into at its peak.
tiglet looking to stir the pot to nobody biting.
The Quote of the Decade will carry on the backs of the younger generations until the burden causes collapse. The baby boomer generation may end up being the generation that lead to the financial collapse of this great nation. Sad but true.
I would agree with this assumption as it begins to appear low interest rate environment outlook shifts to a longer outlook but will add the utilities and telcos are also being used as a hiding place during a time of global economic uncertainty, especially with Brexit adding some serious questions to long term outlook for the EU (possible fallout). However, those who blindly run to AT&T for yield and safety have likely not done their DD on the melting ice cube AT&T took on in DTV that will cause the P/E to increase because of declining DTV earnings. The golden years of monopolistic markets for pay TV bundling is at sunset. Numerous bandwidth boosting tech advancements and FCC rules being upheld will blow the doors open for new competition in TV bundling as well as ala carte delivery by content providers. The head squirrel couldn't have timed the DTV purchase any worse.
You are quite the klown accusing me of being a person living in some town in Utah and living in the UK at the same time as well. You did not snap your fingers. I just happened by an hour later but you posted within six minutes. Who is making who jump? The silly klown providing the entertainment jumping up and down. Heading out of your trailer home to play on the roll up putting green down the dirt road next to the tranny's trailer. Go enjoy yourself.
Blowhard accusations coming from the klown who deletes his post history. Priceless. As much as the carnage roils the markets today it may well be a good thing for the UK to walk away from the EU rabbit hole. Is Texas next to walk away from a union? There has been a lot of rumblings....
Quite an ugly scenario for AT&T/DTV that just lost it's ability to horse collar the streaming TV competition. Barrier to pay TV bundled delivery is now gone from a regulatory perspective and the technology barrier is on the cusp of collapsing as G.fast, DOCSIS 3.1, 5G and continued full fiber are rolled out to market. Those IP techs, along with ATSC 3.0, will severely impact the monopolistic barrier held by select few including DTV.
The head squirrel will go out like Jerry Levin.
Worm was the story behind the Sammy Kershaw hit "Queen of my double wide trailer". "Queen" being more than many would read into the lyrics. Worm has competition for the trailer park tranny with some neighbor named Earl.
Tired old Okie? You must be talking about the squirrel at the helm of AT&T
At you mm moniker? AT&T will begin....later this year.....VZ was testing in January and is already running more than one test site. Will be interesting to watch the capex budget of T since it is supposed to be rolling out so much final mile fiber per the FCC agreement to buy that dinosaur of DTV.
Fat boy buying cheap corner store beer and reheated ribs in your dump trailer house watching NBA with the latina tranny is something most won't envy. Whatever trips your trigger for a still single klown hitting 50.
With 5G, Verizon could be anyone's crazy-fast home broadband provider.
Article is spot on what I've said for last year or two and why AT&T was ignorant in buying a TV bundler/agreeing to build final mile fiber for the FCC approval of DTV. VZ is going to kick the door open on home broadband speeds and in doing so kicks the door open for IPTV competition. AT&T not only wasting money on the promised final mile fiber builds but DTV margins/market barrier set to tank in the coming years.
Wonder if McAdam's comment about competition being two years behind includes AT&T. I would be inclined to think so given AT&T was blowing off 5G as being off in the distance 2020 kind of thing when VZ was making their 5G deployment intentions known. Instead the squirrel at the helm has bought a dinosaur pay TV bundler with its market barrier set to collapse.
P.S. Wormthat'slightintheloafers, I'm still around laughing at your klown act but rarely waste the time to yank your chain.
"People don't try to scare or agitate other unless they hate their life. I apologize as making fun of people with mental/physical limitations like Smalls/Nige, Treword, etc. ...."
You sure do look like a maroon posting that first sentence then following it up with an apology for doing such an agitation action. Klown is going nowhere.
Less fortunate like the latino tranny in the same trailer park as you? Maybe you can help replace the tranny's trailer house skirting after you are done fixing your damage from the recent flooding. Maybe the tranny won't charge you next time you stop by services.
CHasing your tail there klown? You still need to figure out if I live in "trashy" Europe as you called it or if I live in Utah. Is the neighborhood stinking from the trash left around your trailer home from the recent flooding?
You'll still be here and will be 'pinched' in due time.
Go spew that line over on the VOD mb instead of trying to distract from the disaster of AT&T. Guess shouldn't expect any different given smoke screen deliveries done by AT&T management in the past. The klown and AT&T belong together.
ROFL If he didn't do it then you have the likes of Google and Facebook working on alternative 5G delivery methods that may soon crush the mobile communications barrier. VOIP and TV delivery using 5G drones or balloons or small cells etc. Changes are coming and the last thing that should have been done is buy a monopolistic TV bundler about to lose its competitive barrier.
On the verge of killing my DISH sub. Probably in the next 12-18 months. People are getting tired of the junk channels and $70-$100/month they pay beyond what they would spend with streaming of their handful of choice channels. AT&T couldn't have bought a pay TV bundler at a worse time....just as the barrier for delivery of content is set to collapse over multiple IP methods.
Now adjust for the Uverse subs that moved their service over, at the shove of AT&T, to DTV platform = net loss. The cord cutting era is still in its infancy/early adopter stage of the bell curve. Things are about to accelerate over the next year and going forward.
