JAB acquisition of GMCR completed will they acquire JVA? JVA termination of Loilos group within 30 days of hiring them speaks to inside BO. The timing of GMCR's buyout / JVA ER and scheduled buyback remain suspect. Time will tell! GLTL
I own stock as well and have been looking at lack of volume. JVA reminds me of caribou coffee and Tevanna Tea just prior to sale of company.
Lack of volume / news for months and stock trailed down. Then one day stock announcement was made and stock was sold. I suspect this is what is going on as to what common alluded to.
The fact JVA hired/fired Loiois group so quickly tells me they were possibly approached within their circle for buyout. The fact that JVA hasn't been proactive with news releases / ER or CC tells me they were instructed to lay low. I believe they will be picked up by JAB for business relationship with GMCR. Also news release just prior to sale to JAB on how they were looking to bring product into USA at 3 ports and needed storage. New Jersey was one of the ports and could be a key factor.
Once GMCR deal closes I wouldn't be surprised that a news release comes out for JVA to be acquired as well. It's a solid relationship with a true test of time. Stay positive.
