Don't you just love it when Goldman Sux has changed the price target from 60 to 48. They used to give a time frame like within 12 months the target price will be reached. Will it hit 48 tomorrow or 10 years from now? Why do people even care what they say? Their only goal is to rob the small investor. Ask your broker what does he own in his personal account.
You can look at chart all you want, but what are the fundamental reasons why this is so low. I think the profit margin issue is overblown. The have cash and no debt. Makes no sense how this continues to drop on good news. Looks to me like average shareholders are getting used, especially when there is big after hours trading.
Guess they would be broke if they didn't sell their stock options. They gotta pay the rent somehow.(lol) If it wasn't for the shareholders the company wouldn't be were they are.
They just announced a major deal with a Japanese solar company. Didn't even register a blip on the radar. CREE should pay a dividend to make up for the risk shareholders are taking. Down nearly 30% for the year!
If only analysts compensation were based on their job performance(return on investment)
Who said there will be an acquisition. Who are they acquiring? You seem to know so much scam.
Figures! Out of all the projects that were announced with great fanfare for Stan, which ones brought rev to POW! and how much? Cant even afford to keep the website running. Looks like its penny time for this.
$1.2B in cash, no debt(just so they put it to good use.)
They should sell in WalMart. They can use them for their stores too since I'm sure they don't want to hire anyone to replace bulbs too often.
Both US and China want cheap gold, but for different reasons. US to fool people in to thinking the economy is doing better than it is. China to accumulate their cheap stockpile to make the Yuan the primary currency when the dollar drops. How much gold does US, and China really have?
They may debate about valuation but $1.2B in cash, with little or no debt cannot be denied.
"Ford's Alan Mulally will leave with nearly $300 million nest egg"
People need to save their money and buy only used imports which last a lot longer then Fords.
Why do you say that? Are you saying fundamentals don't matter? Interesting how they all sell on cue even after a good earnings report. This stock got beat up twice last year in 2013, Aug 14, and Oct 22 to be more precise. Not sure exactly what the reasons for those drops were.
