That's not so hard Trendy. They were primarily content companies, not distributors where NFLX was subsidized to "monopolize" distribution and then create proprietary content to have leverage over traditional businesses not subsidized to take on said losses and commitments.... And we all know that it's hard for entrenched companies to adjust their business models or cannibalize their own profits.

All of the Growth Cartel companies have enjoyed a "capital market" subsidy unavailable to everyone but the chosen few... All people need do it is look back at AMZN's now available (wasn't made available until AFTER the Omission Offerings) FCF statement now incuded (Free cash flow less finance lease principal repayments and assets acquired under capital leases increased to $2.5 billion for the trailing twelve months, compared with an outflow of $492 million for the trailing twelve months ended June 30, 2015.). If DOJ were to look back at what that figure was at the time of the Omission Offerings and at the cash position, there'd be some AWFUL tough explaining to do... Then, the IRS could get after the compensation subsidy from the inflated stock price (due to zero sum trading games -- option algo scalping and ETF/MF frontrunning on an 70%+ percent controlled by Bezos and Top 10 holders) using RSUs which transfer full value rather than just appreciation (and I posted quotes on AMZN messageboard long ago from AMZN execs saying they pay below funny money "market" wages because of the generous stock comp program) that the "Capital Committee" and Collusive Growth Cartel have created (again, at the people's expense as the only growing channel for investment, passive retail ETFs, are stuffed with overvalued #$%$ while gutted of fundamentally sound companies not privileged to enjoy the "Capital Committee" and "Growth Cartel" subsidies...

Trendy doesn't want to acknowledge the anticompetitive nature of the monopsony to monopoly strategy that certain institutions have subsidized to control existing media while positioning for future monopolistic rent extraction. It's just another face of the monetary and financial control frauds and he doesn't want DOJ to actually start doing its job with the recognition that the rest of us, those not chosen to be Fed with "money" and "capital" conjured from nothing or skimmed/scalped from "exchange", have to produce to survive. It's monopolistic rent extraction for 99 percent of us...

This coming from the individual encouraging people to kill themselves, constantly engaging in cyber bullying like a fifth grader on the playground. Humorous. Grow up.

THEY are the cause of almost all of the world's problems. The artificial scarcity and engineered duress resulting from the nearly infinite abuse of power, position and privilege to create excessively centralized control structures makes it so billions (and hundreds of millions within this country) live with undue and unnecessary uncertainty of survival, of basic human needs (thinks Maslow's lowest level) while they keep score in essentially if not inherently fraudulent accumulated and derived phantom debt claims terms and hold everyone effectively as slaves. Human beings are powerful beings and will do what's necessary to survive (which includes ravaging the environment, again Rothschild/Morgan/Rockefeller Banksters' Wall Street's fault). Read the article on Chicago Gangs on ZH. Even the finest military and surveillance state in the world cannot defend an infinite perimeter into perpetuity (and why would they want to absorb ALL the REAL risk of their lives while the monetary and financial control fraud operators compensate them with a tiny fraction of the ill gotten gains from the systemic theft which has given rise to the social instability?).

Time to make the Neocons/Neoliberals, Banksters, WS and their monpsonistic/monopolistic Crony Capitalist Corporations absorb all the REAL risk, putting THEIR lives on the line instead of ours.

I don't see it that way. One of the few websites that truly encourages free speech and supports positions with factual analysis. It's not anarchist. It's individuals who've systematically been atomized by the monetary and financial control fraud operators who encourage dependence to exploit forced interdependence as the "connective tissue" operating monpsonistic/monopolistic "markets", "exchanges", "distribution", "money" that have come to control government using their essentially if not inherently fraudulent accumulated and derived phantom debt claims to purchase "power" and "control" (using entitlements to create a tyranny of those fearful for survival due to the artificial state of engineered duress to perpetuate the "welfare" state when true welfare comes from being self sufficient) because many within government have who red themselves out and sold their souls...

We are a Nation of pioneers, of entrepreneurs, of decent human beings that believe in life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, with liberty and justice for one, for each and every one and for ALL. The monetary and financial control fraud operators believe that we are lower life forms that they must protect from ourselves. F'k them. Let them eat chyt and die, back to their maggot fly forms.

  • Great article on "money" and debt repayment. Check out his solution... Kind of sounds like what I've been saying for years. There's one and only one truly stable way out of centuries of monetary and financial fraud.

Your crew has no REAL power but relies upon the cowardice, complacency and capitulation of others... Without our complete capitulation, the monetary and financial control fraud operators will be exposed as arrogant, narcissistic pseudo intellectuals who look down on ALL others, viewing us as LESSORS (dumb brutes, "disposable human peasants" and lab rats for mind control preying upon cognitive biases everywhere)..

    Payback is a #$%$... ;-) :-)

Subsidized monopsony at the expense of relatively atomized producers... Another face of the moneychangers game...

I prefer teacher. The single most important thing we do in this lifetime is to teach our children and those around us how to coexist symbiotically with others (not just those of same race, religion, cast or country) in society to everyone's benefit. It's called being a good, decent human being. You might try it.

  • techstrategy techstrategy Aug 10, 2016 12:35 PM Flag

Nope. I believe in the obligation, not just the opportunity, to dissent when one recognizes that The path we're following is WILDLY unjust, destabilizing and value destroying...

May you internalize 100 percent of the pain and suffering, including mental/emotional, that you intend and attempt to inflict onto others... TRUE Justice is coming. We will soon again be a nation of Just laws with Just creation, adjudication and enforcement of the laws as we come back into alignment with the Universal Design, Law and Objective Function...

  • techstrategy techstrategy Aug 10, 2016 11:36 AM Flag

Nah. I talk so that others might open their minds to what is truly possible when people act selflessly, sufficiently confident in themselves, in their capabilities and "power" to put others first and act as junior claimants on the flows of value (nominal and REAL) until restitution and rebalancing are complete... ;-) :-)

Always "$" for $, WITHOUT LEVERAGE AND WITHOUT LIMIT as those who've run the monetary and financial control frauds are hyperlevered against fundamentals from centuries of nearly infinite abuse of power, position and privilege to unjustly enrich themselves at EVERYONE else's expense....

  • techstrategy by techstrategy Aug 10, 2016 9:41 AM Flag

Those who do the fundamentally right thing for the fundamentally right reasons (including pure intent) will not only survive what is to come, but thrive into the future... REALIZE supernormal returns without leverage while de-risking, every minute of every day, divesting of essentially if not inherently fraudulent nearly infinite duration accumulated and derived phantom debt claims on non productive financial "assets" to INVEST in OURSELVES, in PEOPLE and OUR NATION'S INDEPENDENCE (self sufficiency and resiliency) through a MASSIVE ST UST and rapidly growing physical gold buffer (demand delivery to remove the working physical buffer that the financial control fraud operators abuse).

The REAL Endgame is certain BY DESIGN while the monetary Endgame is mathematically certain... ;-) :-)

  • techstrategy techstrategy Aug 10, 2016 1:46 AM Flag

Actually, no. I expect We the People will find our values once again and reject all the empty promises of being effectively exploited and enslaved by those who encourage dependence rather than independence so that they can extract parasitic rents controlling "markets", "exchanges", "money", etc. They've architected a world with artificial scarcity due to the extraordinary societal deadweight loss incurred perpetuating their global skimming and scalping operations (globalization has been done in a manner to maximize the sociopathic Satanists control and level of trade/currency exchange to skim, not value created through trade for peoples and nations).

You'll be amazed at how quickly AMZN and NFLX can lose customers once the public understands how she why they've been subsidized...

  • techstrategy techstrategy Aug 10, 2016 12:41 AM Flag

Made possible with an assist from the "Capital" Committee... As all monopsony to monopoly plays that DOJ turns a blind eye to are... For a few years, it creates consumer value as producers (which all not Fed by "money" / "capital" created from nothing must be) are squeezed, but then as consumer inertia and "market power" gel and solidify, prices are ramped and consumer surplus removed. And that's why the "market" bids these up in expectation of future monopolistic rent extraction on both producer and consumer sides.

If the public truly understood how the financial and monetary system "work" those responsible wouldn't survive a weekend.

  • techstrategy techstrategy Aug 9, 2016 10:59 PM Flag

Those who try to cash in on collapse or sell US short shall finance the transition to a monetary and financial system with honesty, integrity and justice for ALL... The Endgame is certain BY DESIGN and the monetary Endgame is mathematically certain... Choose wisely and thrive Sybs...

  • techstrategy techstrategy Aug 9, 2016 10:21 PM Flag

Use an artificially strong USD (based upon fundamentals) to buy gold in USD terms. We can always control the REAL value of USD and the REAL effective money supply rather than letting other nations or PRIVATE Central Banks (or "TBTJ" banks) control it...

  • techstrategy techstrategy Aug 9, 2016 10:15 PM Flag

Exit all duration on non productive financial assets. Divest of the Protection Racket Consumption Ponzi monopsony to monopoly plays. Build ST UST and physical gold positions as secure stores of value to protect from both tail events. Exit bank deposits / MM funds. Buy local content from local producers. Invest in friends, family and community rather than getting skimmed and scalped by the monetary and financial control fraud operators. Cut out those who create no REAL value for society but have rigged everything to capture most of it to internalize as much value as locally as possible and certainly within our Nation's borders.
