why oh why to you continue to focus on the negative. If someone where to give you a gold coin you would swear up and down that that its either fake or radioactive . Sometimes things are just as they apear, nothing more. If the stock is going up then there must be a resaon for it. Perhaps just maybe, someone else sees things half full rather than half empty all the time.
Its never to late to learn , live dangerously and enjoy the ride.

    So what happened?

Minnie, i told you they did , why didn't you listen to me before ?

I hope this doesn't make your day but it is in the ballpark of 15%. Apparently Hudson does have some management and leadership skills or else he is very much it touch with his shareholders. In any case, 200+ people lost their jobs and I 'm sure they were not all crooks and inepts as you have portrayed them in the past.
As you know, the market in general is bad and in this industry its performance is magnified by 10X either for better or worse.
Now, can we attempt to rebuild the credibility this stock has lost over the past months or would you prefer for the company to file Chaper 11 now?

Lets move on and stop sucking the life out of this stock by constantly bashing it. It is what it is.

    Bye Minnie

come now minnie ...can't we all just get along

Management has taken a cut just as you suggested before , now what else would you like them to do next, since you see to have all of the answers ???

O by the way, I 've heard that you have been away for a while, so most of your rantings are second hand gossip ...

that is exactly what i have trying to tell these nuckleheads....but its no use. Hardening of the arteries, i guess.
The best is yet to come but they talk about free speech and their woes. Today is today and tomorrow is long gone.

I still can't understand why you would bash a stock you own ? Is there something in the water out there ?

See ya, I'm done , Im going to silicon investor and everywhere else to spread the good word.

    you're wrong !!
    1) posting on this board assumes that you have some interest in this stock.
    2) if you do not have a position in this stock and you still post here then you are really a loser, read no more
    3) if you have an interest or position in the stock then presumably you would like to see the stock do well
    4) if you have a position in the stock and it does well then that would be a good thing for you and everyone else who has a position.
    4) if you want to consistently discuss the down side then perhaps you should to so privately.
    5) what am I missing here ? If you sold Ford automobiles for a living , would you go to the Ford site and bash ford autos ?
    6) this is not an exercise in free speech or democracy or First Amendment rights,it is a legitimate forum where owners of the stock can advertise the merits of their positive positions so that others may share in their positive insight and equity.
    7) Don't you get it ???? OH COME ON

  • 1) positive coverage initiated by Smith Barney,
    2) new joint venture with IBM,
    3) new products on the horizon
    4) sales / revenue to be relased shortly

if anyone looks at this board for a reason to buy, they would run away and invest in Taco Bell instead. Are you trying to lose money ?

Can't we just try to imagine that the Company MAY be turning around ?

This stock moves on very little volume. With just a few good words here and there especially from present shareholders this could take off and begin to be traded for a fair price. But if everyone here insists on being negative then your equity will continue to diminish. Again why bash a stock you are invested in ? Nothing is as constant as change... go with it and you will be rewarded.

  • sorry , i'm meant to say IBM but all else will be as predicted

Agreed.....my point was there is no point to bash a stock,,,why waste your time ? Use your energies wisely and for positive purposes.
I really meant no disrespect to Minnie Man, I was just attempting to refocus him onsomething more constructive than worrying about this very voltile stock.

Good Luck too you ,,,,you may need it. If the stock rises as I predict, will you spread the word so we shorter term investors can make a buck ?

"Old man" refers to one who is not willing to accept change. Why post negatives , who wins by doing so and why call it an exercise ?

  • tjcort by tjcort Jul 18, 2004 12:32 PM Flag

Why would anybody spend so much time bashing a stock and its management ? Perhaps you need to find something more constructive to do with your time ? Or perhaps your are such an amateur investor that you belive that your ramblings are of any more significance that that of an ill-informed loser who is actually a bitter old man who belives himself to be self-important by constantly emphasing the negative in all things. Wait and you will see incredibly good news . Then find a new hole to climb in to.

I think we will see a joint venture with Brocade. Watch for the announcement soon. The stock will rise on very little volume. Then you will see a buy out offer from IBM...target price will easily rise to the 52 week high
