I second that emotion, all the way to the "Strong Buy!". I am also buying at these levels. I like the way this one is shaping up both technically and fundamentally. IMHO this one could be 5X these levels inside of a couple of years. 2X by the end of this year; EASILY! This one is headed UP^ and I sincerely don't believe we have that long of a wait either.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Not to be nit-picky or split hairs, but it's not really accurate to say that there was no reason for the RUN-UP. Equally true, there was indeed a reason for the DROP. There are ALWAYS reasons. Now, they made not be "good" reasons, or "valid" reasons, but there are always reasons. But, otherwise, I agree with you entirely. There was no materially significant reason for either one. The longer term trend of this is UP, as it has been for some time now. The history of the company speaks for itself. And, in my opinion, in the grander scheme of things ,it will only get better from here.
Good luck finding that site buddy.
By the time you find it, AWR will probably
be trading at $70.00/share!!! Ha ha ha!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
So excited I'm dropping "w's" and "h's"
That should have been all-time HigHs and sWeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaa!!!
There's NO doubt; this one is a WINNER!
You LOVE to be COMPLETELY WRONG, don't you?
Look which way the price is moving. ha ha ha ha ha!!! :o)))
It's as easy as 1 - 2- 3 - 4
1. Old news.
2. The money is to be paid out over the course of 3 years.
3. While I wouldn't call it a drop in the bucket, it certainly WILL NOT equate to anything even close to a devastating blow.
4. Nobody, NOBODY, seems to care about the case that you seem to think is so material and that you continue to needlessly and uselessly repeat. It seems quite to the contrary. There buying this up like there's no tomorrow!
"InPlay: American Water Works beats by $0.17, beats on revs"
So much for your theory.... It's time you got over it already and go out there and BUY some! Everybody else is!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Personally, I don't think it's headed back to $40.55... not in the next couple of days, not in the next couple of weeks; not even in the next couple of months. The only thing that I see taking it to that level would be:
A crashing (or severely correcting) market.
 A stock split
And I know how you feel about the missed potential gain on your trade.
But, you absolutely should NOT feel bad about the profit that you took.
Not at all. I would say that you did QUITE WELL!
Let the thousands of times that you didn't take the profit be an eternal lesson.
Have a plan for getting in, and a plan for getting out. And be disciplined to that.
If you allow emotion to play too heavily into the matter, you'll often miss out on
profits as they double back on you and turn into a loss.
I did! ;o)
In my opinion anytime is a GOOD time to buy AWR! For me it's an investment and NOT a trade. Although if one wished to trade it, it does make for a pretty good one. Not very volatile and has had a rather predictable range up to this point. I do believe it is starting to get a LOT of very much deserved attention from people that see the fundamentals and simply CANNOT resist it. I've been in this one ever since May when it was trading in the $36-37 range. One certainly could have traded it since then, but it made more sense to me as a BUY and HOLD. And thus I have.
Price broke the 52 week high and closed above 38.00 on heavier than average volume. If it can hold above 38 for Friday's close going into the weekend, it could very well be a good indication that we're on our way ^UP^!!!
Looks like the price action is starting to shape up on this one. And the technology is definitely vogue. This one could have a very sweet little future ahead of it! Cheers! ;o)
Very VERY well stated bigbig!
Watching quietly from the sidelines how all this will turn out.
The only category that I can see that you left out would be those that are short the stock. But I guess they could fall in one, maybe more, of the categories that you listed.
This one is very interesting. I've yet to commit any money though; long or short. But even if I'm short a stock, I don't bash. I just let things take their course. Going to watch and wait a while longer.
Time to bump it up; after all, you know that baby likes to be on TOP
