Little exit off of Interstate $25- ($32?) on the Brexit, but we seem to be back on track. I keep thinking the strength is Chloe-alkali, but I know Winchester has strong sentiment....and should.
I'm not saying business is great, but seems as if steel sales are moderating with some mills trying to get price increases to stick. Castle can become very focused on core business and grow out of this metals recession as well as anyone. Steve has done everything he has said he was going to do; straight shooter. Being short may not be the wisest position to be in.
I've been following CORT for about a month now and today is the first time the bid is above the previous day's close. Could be something to watch....
Anyone else happy to see how nicely Olin is performing this week? To finish up even after earnings, wow. Maybe we have a new Olin. Good CC too, like the new CEO too.
Oil is up 2%, Fed minutes, general feeling on the factory floor that work is picking up... Feels better, which is an improvement over slog slog slog.
