I treat cancer patients who following chemo develop debilitating oral mucositis-and other than analgesic mouthwashes there isn't much to offer--if the trial of brucillidin for mucositis is successful this will be a $1 billion dollar market
I did my residency in oncology in Toronto and worked at Toronto Western Hospital where Dr.Fehlings works--he is "old school" and very demanding in his approach to patient care (his service was closely involved with oncology when it came to spinal cord compression from metastatic disease-prostate etc)--for him to be giving this "last minute" oral presentation definitely tells me that he has some very good result--he is not easily impressed or swayed by some "potential" treatment---hence for him to be involved in INSPIRE and preesent at this conference tells me something "great" is going to be reported
Adam Feuerstein????????? is that YOU????
(excellent results in Parkinsonian animal model announced today---sure you will "trash" that too!!!)
yet after hours it hasn't made a "dent" in the pps-have held on but not sure how much longer I will--you can be sure Adam Feurerstein's "hit" piece will be out first thing in the morning
CUR is wasting their time (as reflected in their pps)--"plunking" stem cells (embryonic or otherwise) into a injury site and expecting some "miraculous" result has been tried countless times with little to no benefit. ?Haven't medical "tourists" gone to China to have this done over the years--I don't see them "walking" home after this--the bottom line is that the site of spinal cord injury is a very inhospital for the survival/growth of stem cells to differentiate--the region post injury is full of inflammatory cells (macrophages/cytokines/low pH etc)---however if you give these cells an "anchor" a site to support them-this gives them the best chance to differentiate/grow-hence what NVIV is doing--their results to date bear this out
if there is a "train wreck" I just hope your on it!!! if you don't like this stock/management sell your shares and invest in porkbellies/soybean futures--something more to your investment speed
I don't worry about a company that has something that will be in demand and potentially has sales that could top $$billions. If even one of the drugs CTIX is developing comes to fruition (purisol, brucillidin, kevetrin) than I doubt fluctuations in the bond market are going to affect it-Profit/Sales are what will determine its PPS
as far as I'm concerned it's 6/9 (Jesi #2 was NOT a failure)--I've heard patient 4 was near death when recruited so the nature of the injuries were probably so catastrophic that they are likely still in ICU/respiratory support
No respectable neurosurgeon/CEO is going to sign up for some "harebrain" clinical trial just for the sake of putting their name on a scientific paper/publication--with 23 sites now up and running do you think that maybe they see the incredible potential/advance this will be for their patients---why don't you just admit you don't have a "clue" what your talking about---you just keep "chasing your tail" like a dog
But again you keep "dodging" the question--if this scaffold is as "useless" as you claim why are these sites signing up to take part in the trial in the first place?? much smarter neurosurgeons/scientists than you are heading up these departments/trial sites so are you suggesting they are all idiots? are they on the take? will this INSPIRE trial be revealed to be a fraudulent operation with all these department heads/CEO's etc. being arrested/sent to prison for their involvement in this???
Then WHY aren't Northwestern or any of the sites enrolled in INSPIRE not using these other therapies have "demonstrated similar or better results"--more "gibberish" from you
then why are they enrolling in the trial in the first place?? is Perrin slipping "brown envelopes" full of cash to the CEO of each INSPIRE site to bribe them to enroll??
Northwestern (Chicago) just signed up for the INSPIRE trial--if they thought this was an exercise in futility why are they enrolling in this in the first place?? are you saying that their neurosurgical departments have been employing morons??
Sentiment: Strong Buy
explain to Imansidope that if his continual criticism of InVivo has any merit-than why are prestigious sites (like Northwestern) signing up for the scaffold trial?? if they thought this was an exercise in futility wouldn't they take a pass on participating in the first place??
I don't know where you've been--Imansidope has been all over this board today following the announcement of the 5th conversion-(as I figured it would)--what ever this thing is is trying to drive down the price to profit from it--it has admitted as such in print before---just don't respond to this thing---put it on "ignore"--save yourself the aggravation-this thing thrives on getting under the skin of posters
don't feed this "troll" imamisandope---he is all over this board today spewing his drivel to cool enthusiasm and drive down the price--he has openly admitted in Jason Napadono's blog that he's "shorting" the stock and has made money doing so--don't feed into his agenda
another conversion (announced Aug 17)--$10 seems more and more likely--will hold you to the promise of your disappearing when it does--but as always your stupid "shorting" agenda won't allow for that will it..........PAL?
