Why bother stealing designers and engineers from Tesla? Just make Elon the CEO of Apple. Obviously Apple today has no clue about innovation.

    They are both wrong.

NSA/FBI has been after all personal data from Google, Twitter, FaceBook, Comcast, Charter, AT&T, etc... Asking these other companies to release data that have nothing to do with terrorist. Moreover, NSA/FBI has revealed its not just 1 iPhone now, its 9-12 phones... for now. Soon everyone's personal data. This has nothing to do with terrorist. This is an infringement of privacy initiated by the Patriot Act under Bush and now expanded by magnitude of scale bigger under Obama's TTP/TTIP (Hillary as well as Rubio are anti-privacy. Bernie advocating more government is also not the answer).

Tyranny of the Government is created by a strong centralized Federal Government. Giving government more power to fix the problem by taking it to the Supreme Court is like asking corporations to self-regulate. Again, ask the political Washington insider Democrat and Republican elite class to self-regulate? It will not happen. Citizens and people will lose.

This kind of things can be avoided by giving power back the States and the People. What political party advocates limited Federal government and stronger State and Individual Rights? Definitely not Democrats that advocate a stronger Government while asking them to self-regulate and definitely not the new Republican Establishment (RNC). Unfortunately, the solution is the Old Republican Party which does not exist today in this modern era.

Serious issue far beyond Apple. I'm surprised how little people really understand Big Brother. So be it.

  • Disney STRONG beat top and bottom but stock is down? Forget about the overblown riot in Hong Kong (not related to anything except unlicensed street food vendors being shut down). Wall Street cannot use Guidance as an excuse either. We should have a riot on Wall Street. Disney drop is true manipulation and corruption.

Riot is nothing new and overblown. Always been riots when police crack-down on street food vendors. Has happened in the past under British rule. Its a localized event and has nothing to do with China gov't, oil price, stock market, nothing. Its just regular people selling street foods without permits and police enforcing the law.

Hope JarJar's handpicked board will make the right decision to get rid of him. Even Gene Munster has come out to say Apple Watch was a disappointment. Jarjar has no vision and clueless how to innovate. Apple proved people wrong before. Yeah before when Jobs was around. I can't believe Apple cannot attract better talent than Jarjar.

Conference call: Mesa thinks Apple Watch mooey mooey yousa people like. Dat smells stinkowiff. Mesa say China buta think wesa in trouble because Jarjar no Jedi no power, wessa all sinking.

    Fire the Cook

China is not an excuse. China facts. China owns $1.4 trillion US Debt (7-8%). US owns $1 trillion China Debt. Japan holds 7-8% of US debt. Most debt held by US Citizens. China does not want to own US Debt. No-one really wants it. Last couple of months, Feds asked Belgium to buy US Debt cause China+ others said no more. (Ya'll should Google it about Belgium and US debt).

Today 1/26, China Federal Reserve will up the Reserve Requirement previously at 0%. This is contractionary. Did CNBC report this? They did not. At the same time, devalue currency (expansionary) to offset. So what. US dollar has been devalued with QE1, QE2, QE3, etc... So iPhone sales with weak US dollar to China improved bottom line was spun-off as great CEO execution. So poor iPhone sales due to stronger US dollar should be equally be attributed to poor execution by the Cook. Bottom line, Cook did nothing but make a Watch (its a gadget which will not change the world), buggy El Capitan OS (iPhone OS buggy too), collect paycheck and promote his personal agenda.

How many iPhones have Apple sold to Russia? Some of biggest fan-base, Germany and Europe ignored. China economy not to blame just another excuse for Cook's bad leadership. Trying to coat-tail on past iPhone/iPad success (which was Jobs, not him) to a potentionally huge China market but he failed on execution. Another CEO may have been able to penetrate the market.

Read my post on Fire the Tim "JarJar Binks" Cook. (Fire the Cook is kinda catchy). I'm a holder of Apple stock for Apple past, not Cook.

  • JarJar says "me not blame for Jedi fall". It was JarJar's decision to focus on Jakku. If Jakku bet not paying off, it is Jarjar's fault. But of course being JarJar, he makes excuses. Jedi throughout the quadrant thinks the LightDagger is quite useless. Meanwhile, LightSaber quality and sales has dropped because JarJar is not a true Jedi. Unbeknowst to JarJar, he has also let in corrupt Galactic Senate into the Jedi Council to ensure JarJar stays in power and a Sith Lord. True Jedi Masters have left to form alliances with other Forces. Without ObiWan, the Jedi's are lost.

Jedi Council needs to get rid of JarJar and let the Force Awaken!

I'm a bad storyteller but maybe someone can do better. Cook looks and talks exactly like JarJar and quite annoying.

Board needs to get a new CEO. Its that simple. Currency, China, whatever... Excuses and excuses. Any employee that came out with an Apple Watch should have been fired on the spot.

Agreed. Step down before its too late. Product quality and customer satisfaction down on core OS. Before long, I'm going to have to switch back to Microsoft products. Falling behind on everything else but woo hoo #1 on the Watch. Who cares about the Watch.

Look up insider selling at AAPL. Last year Cook sold around this time for $142,764,945 while other execs around $35 million. As far as we can tell sold around Nov 4th 2015 around $120-$123 for at least $35 million plus whenever other times. I don't have subscription service for insider trading. Do not be confused about the numbers, $100 million is a lot of money and unusually high compensation. Too much for doing so little I say.

    Apple OLED iPhone/TV

    washington_jo washington_jo Nov 11, 2015 1:24 PM Flag

Check the patents. Apple already fell behind with OLED so they bought an OLED company with minor patents. Samsung has all the major patents and Curved Edge phone. Apple was once a leader but now falling behind on many things. As an investor, I hope the board wakes up. If Apple copies Samsung, they will lose the lawsuit.
