    CRAZY

Hey, if you want to laugh at me, if that's really important to you, then laugh at me for buying TAN. I took a bath on that. Fortunately I didn't invest too much, but that sucked. SPWR and FSLR, I'm ok with those so far. I'm looking for the strongest companies in solar and in truth, so far, they've all been a mild disappointment. But so has the market as a whole. And I had a 10-year time line, so I'm not sweating bullets every day like most of the people on this board. And like you, I always thought that SUNE and SCTY were a joke and never put a penny in them. So, we'll see. There's money to be made here. Ante up and play your cards. But it's pretty poor sport, spending all your time laughing at other people's hands. Karma is looking out for that sort. Hubris, Pride goeth before, etc.

I sold that $34 tranche that fixates you so at a loss to take some of the tax sting a way from some other gains. It would sting horribly, yes, if I weren't in the green. It will be a while before it gets to $34 again (or for FSLR to get to $70 again either). Now I need to wait some more days, and for SPWR to get below $15 before I buy any more. That average cost thing, you know. I'm in no particular rush. It's tempting here, but it wouldn't do me any good to buy right now. You could say that was a lack of faith, except I've been holding a pretty big chunk for 4 years, I'm overweight in solar. Good luck on your buy. FSLR and SPWR are both worth more than they are currently priced. I know you only agree with half of that. I'm happy to compare chips with you a gain in another four years. But, you know, I still think you're a pretty weird mother hanging out on the board of a stock you don't own dissing it all the time. That's just weird, man. Ego or something. Something you need to prooooove. Good luck with that, all stocks apart.

Have you acknowledged that the two stocks are doing the same since the market bottom? No I think you have not. I'll tell you what: when I can lower my average cost, I will. I'm pretty heavy in solar. There are other sectors. I'm thinking of picking up some LL, bull says it's a steal.

Let me remind you the point was that you were bragging about SPWR's performance over three years, and me reminding you that it's doing almost exactly as well as FSLR since the market bottom in 2012. Both are down off their highs. Are you buying more FSLR, bull? Or does your faith only extend to parking yourself on board of a stock you don't own making dubious comparisons for four years while your own stock performs the same as the one you're dissing?

And hey, I wasn't insulting you. You really do seem to have a lot of trouble grasping the average cost thing. It's not my fault that true observation smacks of insult. Physician, heal thyself.

May 13, 2013 it closed at 49.98. Right now it's 49.09. As I said, hardly something to brag about. If you go back to the bottom in 2012, they have both done about exactly the same since. Yes, you're right, if you pick a certain date in between now and then you can claim one has done better than the other, that's an outstanding observation, so clever. I can pick a day in there and say SPWR is up since then and FSLR is down. It would be about as meaningful as your observation.

As I've pointed out to you before, I added small blocks to my original large buy all the way up to $34, yes. But you always seem to think that the average price someone has is the price of the highest share they ever bought. I know that's a confusing, advanced topic that's probably just a bit beyond your comprehension, so I try not to mock you on it too much. It's not nice to pick on simple people.

But surely you can see that bragging about how you had the wisdom to purchase a stock three years ago that's worth the same today is hardly something to crow about, right? Hey, I'll even give you the 1% appreciation! Well done! How's LL doing, by the way?

But I guess these points are only of value to an honest disputant, which disqualifies you. You just want to be right, it's an ego thing for you. I got your sad little number, bull.

Hah! You always bring that up when you can't answer something. It's your own special little way of admitting that you just lost that point. ("Quick, I have no response, break out the insult spray!") Pretty weak tit, but right in character. .

I wouldn't brag too much. FSLR is worth less than it was exactly three years ago. In fact, despite a lot of bouncing around, as of today FSLR and SPWR have performed almost exactly the same since I bought them both in May 2012.

Selling your FSLR? Ah well. You can put more into LL that way I guess.
