"your party has been taken over by the t-baggers, and you have nobody to blame but yourselves."

If that were true, Ted Cruz would be the nominee.

"I known a family of college degree people, advanced degrees etc. Most underachieving bunch I have ever seen."

Well, there you go. I think we should eliminate all higher education, it only serves to create underachieving people.

yes it does, bat schiet crazy."

And if, by some stretch, you actually wanted the truth, what would you propose.

    "Hillary DNGAF about our security.
Neither did Bill, as he put himself into blackmail-susceptible situations."

I guess I don't understand how any clear eyed person (much less 8) can possibly not agree with this statement. Do you think he only slept with patriots?

"Rather than these continued attacks, you need to focus on the "Donald Trump Problem".

So Greatday, suppose for a second that Hillary does NOT win the general election. Does that mean all Republicans are no longer racists, but are then sexists? Is that garbage we are going to hear for the next 4 years.

I think it makes Republicans AND Democratics just plain ole stupid if we elect either one of them.

"Thank heavens the D, being a person of conviction, would never change his stance to appease his followers."

Of course he would Capt. Obvious. This is why neither Donald nor Hillary is suited for public office, much less the Presidency.

"Rather than these continued attacks, you need to focus on the "Donald Trump Problem".

This seems to be the motto of both political parties....if you think we're bad, look at Hillary/Donald. These are the two worst candidates that I've seen in my voting lifetime. If this is the best they can do, it's time for a change.

LAPD picks BMW i3 over Tesla Model S

"GM seems to be out of the game now as far as police interceptors go."

I still see quite a few Tahoe's around here being used by the County and State Police. GM used to have a special engineering group dedicated to police vehicles, don't know if they still do or not.

It does seem that they have pulled out of that market. It's very expensive to engineer these vehicles for a relatively small market.

    The new Wall Street Rumor

    by jeyebolt2003 Jun 16, 2016 4:07 PM

Big M&A rumors recently broke that Toyota Motor Company (NYSE:TM) is considering a possible purchase of General Motors (NYSE:GM)"

I don't think so. My first question is why? Second question is how would they finance $75B for a company with smaller margins than their own?

Obviously the rumor isn't getting any traction on Wall Street.

What's your source? Why do we always have to ask you?

"Would you be for that? "

Of course not. And I'm not advocating a total ban on guns, just the assault rifles out of the hands of crazy people and terrorists. I think there's something to be said for more ' normal' people owning guns.

But the position that the Republicans have been taking (read that NRA) is ridiculous.

"How come you never answered wngr when he asked you to give your analysis as to why you say GM is going to go bankrupt again. It's not like you to be speechless, so perhaps it's because you are totally clueless, which you've proven to be over the course of a decade!"

I'm not offended at all when people don't answer direct questions, in fact, it pretty much lays out the fact that they don't have an answer as in this case.

Sometimes I will press hard for answer, but only to prove a subsequent point. I think in this case the subject is closed and maybe, a certain individual has rethought his assertion and decided to question himself....privately. And that's OK. We can always hope.

    a_pistol_larry:

You neglected to answer Cheblammo's question. I think it was a serious question although you don't do well with serious though, do you?

Here's the question again if you've forgotten it:

"Anyway, just who are your "independent watchdogs" and what do they think of MSNBC?"

See if you can muster up a serious answer instead of one of your cute replies. If you replies were the least bit funny it might be a different story, alas, they're mostly annoying.

    Adrian:

"Democrats won't cure mass murders or serial killings with control of Congress OR with new gun laws."

No they won't stop all of them. But let's say a research lab came up with a new drug that would cure 20% of all lung cancer patients. Would you be for that?

":This killer passed all background checks."

Obviously someone that has been interrogated three times by the FBI for potential terrorism, and has reportedly been put on the no-fly list does NOT qualify for gun ownership. Wouldn't it be nice if the Republicans could AT LEAST agree to legislation that would remove people that abuse their spouse, be suspected of terrorism, and are mentally unstable from assault rifle ownership? Is that infringing on someone's second amendment rights?

I find myself moving further and further away from today's Republican Party. They are self destructing.

"Obviously, this is big news. Saying or not saying his name or counting him or not counting him in the death toll is meaningless to me. What needs to happen is the complete and total destruction of all of these radical Islamic terror groups. These deranged killers draw their inspiration from the success of ISIS and other radical groups. Strength and power are the only things they respect. "

Well said Chebby. Couldn't agree more.

Take the money from the USA

    by rift401 Jun 10, 2016 12:29 PM

"So tell us how they step on the flag."

I don't disagree with anything you said the3, except the part that "GM pays the salary of almost a quarter million Americans". Actually that's about double the true number. But never mind that, what you said is basically true.

I do get what the other poster is trying to say, that GM is moving more and more out of the US....which IS true. The only point I would make is this, companies, especially multinational companies, operate in many places. They will find the most efficient methods and locations in which to manufacture their goods. If one place is higher cost than another, the natural thing for the company to do is to move operations there....as GM is doing. I would only like to point out that GM is just reacting to economic realities. I would suggest the poster dig a little deeper to see exactly who is stepping on the flag.
