All Joe can do is laugh nervously when under pressure. He disgraced the President.
What a complete lie. Argue whether it was worth it or not, but to say GM's bailout didn't cost the taxpayer is rubbish and you know it. US wants to get out because it knows the stock will ever reach the $50+ break even point and more than likely will only go lower.
Obama wants to be remembered as a Robin Hood to the American people. He doesn't care if the country turns into a sad, unproductive, welfare state dependent on other countries for financing its debts.
That's what they want, but they will get something different. There will just be more automation, less employment. Wages should go up if there is a labor shortage - something the US doesn't have. Arbitrary wage hikes for unskilled work just makes it more costly, and less of it will be used.
It's a big mistake to through money at all these businesses hoping that some of it sticks - especially if you don't have the money to begin with. Unless it was to buy votes, then we can call it a success.
All praise to Ben Bernanke! Holding everything together as Dems do everything in their power to destroy the economy.
More people on food stamps, disability, hours cut, more part-time jobs with Obamacare coming, Fed keeping rates low to counteract his bad policies. Stocks are up and home sales creeping up only because of Fed action.
I don't care for Obama myself, but 1 in 8 is LESS than 1 in 7!
Obama is responsible for making this a nation of part-timers and people that don't even bother to work. That's why the Fed is backing off on using the unemployment number for deciding when to taper. That figure just doesn't capture the hard times of American workers. Next hit is Obamacare. Companies don't want to hire. The American economy would be well on to the road to recovery if it weren't for the President's bungling. Fed easing is only thing keeping the economy from going into recession, and we know the Fed cannot keep it forever.
Nokia will have a phone that works with the predominant OS in the world - not to mention in business. The phone looks to a be a winner by itself. It distinguishes itself by not copying the iPhone like Androids. Nokia just needs to execute - meaning no product glitches. W8 has to be a hit too for buyers to appreciate the integration between phone and PC. W8 pre-orders are promising. Nokia needs better marketing. They make a big push at the retailers, but the ads are horrible. Good products get no attention because of poor ad campaigns. Bad stuff can even sell because of great ads.
I don't know how Biden's performance can be claimed a victory. Basically said Iran is not a threat - pretty much undermines the sanctions and the governments that support it.
Biden is a clown. We have a clown for VP - reason enough to not vote for that ticket.
Ford was screwed too. They got no such help, and have to compete against a subsidized Government Motors. Once GM is free of government oversight, it's back to the old ways - ridiculous salaries for non-performing execs, easy sub-prime financing to move the metal that could not otherwise be sold at a profit.
That's not true. A bunch of perfectly fine streets and roads were repaved in my area.
Yeah, he did the intel, flew the helicopter and pulled the trigger. Why do I even waste my time. Even you know he backed into it. Give credit to the people hunting OBL and training to take him out for over a decade.
And the younger one was a pot head. Why are people being apologists for them? Why are they making excuses?
