I have nee-k and vr-a.
I'm on the fence about rolling vr-a into wrb-d.
I'm up 1.95% on vr-a.
In all honesty vr-a and wrb-d look nearly identical in terms of the underlying company , coupon, duration, etc.
It seems like a bit of a toss up.
Maybe WRB gets a higher grade since it has other preferred to get a leg up comparison to.
I dunno.. might be a wait for it to leg up to the $26 range.
Ex date is a ways off.
I got notification from IB about the dividend. Says EX is 8/29.
guess there were no buyers on that sell order this morning.
Didnd't look like a big sell order.
Seems safe.. the other preferred didn't drop today.
Nice. Just got back from lunch and seeing that late run up.
I ended up with 10K @ 25.12 average.
Gonna have a big smile if I can make 75c - $1 a share.
I'm cool with 5c - 10c a day.
This is moving a lot faster than many of the other new preferred this year.
The wells one surprised me.
I didn't think the one billion offering was going to move that fast due to it's size and wells has pumped out enough preferred stock.
And their last offering also took a while to get going.
Why aren't they down with the flattening yield curve?
The flight to bonds since BREXIT was substantial.
10 year @ 1.44%
I'm looking on wells fargo right now.
30 year Jumbo is 3.375%.
That is sooooo low.
Euro preferred is getting slapped in the face again today.
Getting more bullish on nee-i.
Just took a big sell order of 181K shares in stride.
No sizable drop.
Meh, not to much damage on preferred.
Euro banks getting his a little bit. Maybe room to flip things like BCS-A, BCS-D, and some other Euro bank preferred.
Yeah it's going good.
Looks like Brexit is going to win.
No idea what kind of hiccup is going to happen to preferred tomorrow.
Says Dow Futures are -679 right now.
That seems exorbitant to me at this point.
Finally VR-A moved a bit on a big order.
I just don't see that one staying under Strike long term.
Decent yield and the company has strong metrics.
I have faith. Just a matter of when to sell it.
BTW.. you see ebayl and tmk.pr.c. $26.43 & $26.40.
*eye roll* dam I sold the shares I bought to flip to early.
I still have 3100 shares of tmk.pr.c.
But the bulk of it is in one of my IRA's and my self directed 401K for long term holding.
I sold the shares of tmk.pr.c I flipped at $25.74 & $25.80.
I added more nee-k.
Yeah, wrb-d seems like a good play.
I'm still puzzled by VA-D.
It seems like it should have a bit more upside considering the company has had yearly EPS in the $4 - $5 range.
Thanks for pointing that out.
I wasn't tracking the other Nextera prefies.
Definitely good new.s.
Will add more on Monday.
You got me trumped by about 10X if you are going 30k shares.
I have 3500 at the moment.
