many an oil abd gas field ocurred when the night was darkest ........... time of faith and hope draw near

One could get real cynical watching how the U.S. Politburo functions. What we are seeing here in PANL is a minor subset of the bigger manipulations that are going on.

Are the American people so stupid that they actually think they still have a functioning democratic system ........ how much looting will it take for the light to go on?

Is CNBC linked to the Gambino crime organization or do they just run their own independent operations?

Sage wisdom you two. To have the foresight to invest contra cyclically and the patience to hold on and eventual realize your return is an investing style no oft practice and less oft disclosed.

I have seen the potential here and it has been my lack of patience that has so often been my downfall.

Hanging long and tight and watching for cheaper shows to cost average into the mix.

MS mantra: "no Euro worries ..... EFA solid investment to diversify portfolio ........ $2 billion trade loss inconsequential"

Repeat after me: "no Euro worries ..... EFA solid investment ........ $2 billion trade loss inconsequential."

I have no doubt that MS thinks they know what they are doing ..... for me ..... I gave up following their investment (dis)advice last fall and it has worked for me ever since.

The GTE news I've been waiting for

Gold Oil sounds desperate to be associated with a positive announcement. Their self pandering announcement was a pitiful example of a company hyping the cum. This exploration exercise sounds like just another day for GTE but not for Gold, who presents much more affected by the results. PR announcements are OK but I'd rather not have one that sounds as hokey and desperate as Gold Oil ....... sounding a little too desperate for me.

They maybe have too many chips bet on this one well.

Great post. These are the "tea leaves" that point to this company having real potential.

Still trades wildly ..... high volume one day 300,000+ shares and then today ..... 2000 shares so far.

Good luck to all the longs out there. I'm in this one for the long haul ...... awaiting some more announcements that should not be too far off.

your point is well taken. not a short term trading stock given company's projected development profile. we are talking years for this company to emerge and realize current "bird in the bush" potential.

first things first ....... BLM approval of EIS?

    second ........ signed financing arrangement

the list is so long your point is well taken

risk/reward looking attractive here ..... spooky dinky volumes alarmed me at one point but Yara deal showed me that this "prospective" company has the beginning elements of a successful emerging fertilizer producer .... they are a few years away but some things have gone right lately and the Yara deal was an unexpected, positive investment by a knowledgeable company.

    buying on weakness here.

ya pay ya money and ya takes ya chances

This could be MM shaking the tree or intra broker trading "designed" to get some cheap stock.

It has all been positives lately and no reason for this dip. Not like the company's reported EPS has disappointed anyone or that the potash market has softened.

If EIS running into problems/delays this could be a problem but owning this stock is a long, long term proposition. Playing it for pops would be foolish.

This stock still presents all the long term fundamentals that it has ever had.

  • This is the kind of volume that I would expect to start seeing with this company's prospects. Yara deal impressive and this looks like an intriguing investment opportunity right now with the kind of
risk/reward ratio that a longer term investor would be attracted to.

They would blow the top off everything if they came back with dual announcements:
    1) approval of EIS
    2) finanicng announcement with firm plans for start of construction of mine/plant

Challenged stock before a pidly little trading volumes but these volumes are healthy and could portend much better things to come.

It's all about the meds that he fails to take on a regular basis ...... unmedicated, ignorant stock trader .......if he is short he is about one more big announcment from poverty and institutionalization where we won't have to worry about him again ..... he won't have any shoelaces let alone alone a G3 connection.

    how about: 1) apple entry ....2) ramp up/increased sales & revenue......then ...3) white light apps & deals

my investment horizon just got shorter here and I would sure like to see a 2 bagger by fall

all valid points ...... it wlll take time and it could work ...... just surprised at low volume of stock

as a for being patient ...... i have been holding onto to PANL since it was $8 a share ....... i find what looks to have the right risk/reward ratio and then buy and hold ..... i found this stock because i like value plays to offset risks of fed fiat money games

good luck to all longs here ..... i hope that this one works out for us all

  • price disparity from announced Yara price $1.32 and current market price of under $1 leaves me to wonder how this stock can be discovered by Yara yet neglected by the rest of the investment world.

either all h#ll is about to break loose or this water bucket has a leak

  • zmanj_54 by zmanj_54 Apr 5, 2012 10:34 AM Flag

yep..... saw the Yara announcements (in triplicate)

committment to buy 20% of stock .... $C40 million at 40+% premium over market ...... $1.32 a share

result: stock trading now at $1 on low volume

thoughts about the pending success of this company as currently NOT reflected in share price ..... despite what appears to be a very positive development and announcement?

i know that there are risky investments .... i have many forecasts and resource development forecasts that were new carried out and that weren't worth the paper they were written on ....... and.....from your previous post i know that jr types like to show up after the fact on these boards and with 20/20 hinddignt ...... modestly imply how smart they are.

a week ago I was pouring over company forecasts and questioning underlying assumptions and the timing for key developments (completion of EIS.....BLM acceptance of plant operatinal plan ...... timing for initiation of first production....ramp up of plant production and full scale operations/sales).....nothing of late to move up any of these time lines .....from reading recent releases appears that EIS approval and construction of plant behind original target dates with plant not completed by end of next year?

    comments?

    timing uncertainty ..... price uncertainty

i still like fertilizer .... a lot ..... and this story just got a lot better ...... but 20x avg daily volume and only up this much???? ..... isn't there a company out there putting up millions and paying $1.30/share

would seem like past tight trading volumes compared to today's volume and $1.30 "support level" would have translated into a much bigger price move than we just saw today?

announcement of money coming in a good sign ...... after i looked at company forecasts appears that the key point is acceptance of EIS by BLM.

    EIS acceptance precedes:
    1) conversion of prospecting licenses into production licenses
    2) begin s mine/plant construction (2yr process),,,,

You Canadians should count your blessings .....Toronto exchange trading no comparison to the haircuts and games played trying to buy down here off pink sheets

  • will need condiments when i eat my words

nice announcement ........ trading volume still very low for a company with over 120 million shares outstanding

makes you wonder how stock could trade under $1 and then have a company walks up with big bucks to buy stock at $1.30?

the way things leak out in this world ....... amazed that there were no arbs out there buying ..... this deal was either kept under very close wraps or ..... the pump and dump is on.

still a sceptic ..... but less so than a week ago.
