Yep, I expect our Tesla to last 10 years. We've driven every car we've owned in the last 40 years (I think we've owned 7 cars...) for 10 years - and the Tesla is the best of the bunch. It is a dream to drive, and the level of engineering is amazing - spouse is a Phd in Physics and Engineering, and he loves it! The batteries have an 8 year warranty; batteries have lasted longer, but that is the risk. At the same time, the battery factory will be in business by then, and battery prices should be down considerably. It is a risk we are willing to take. Yep, I'm too stupid to sell my stock as well, lol. That is also a risk I am willing to take :-) We'll see what it is worth in 10 years.

LOL. My cost basis of 88 looks pretty darn good. I intend to hold for 10 years (which is as long as I intend to own my current Tesla Model S :-)
