LIZA----As my dependable long-time royalty trust expert, (when I need to know re Canroys and Amroys, I read your messages) do you have an opinion as to why Bank of America is spending $11.55 per letter certified mail with the U S Post Office to notify those of us holding our own HGT certificates that B of A has resigned as the Trustee of HGT? What might they be concerned about, and do you think there is some sort of worrisome information that B of A knows about?--Thx, BF1
Hi lizahuang54321---You (along with NeedHighYield, AtlantaThrasher, et al) are one of the "old timers" whose opinion I respect.--Question: Is it your sense that ROYT, BBEP, LINE, etc, compare favorably with CRT, SJT, HGT, BPT and MARPS? Or should I simply stay with my older "tried and true" royalty trusts? Thanks in advance!---BF1
Meeting is coming in eight days. Can you people living near to Rancho Cordova attend and quiz Mel and his execs? He almost has to level with you at in a face-to-face situation. We shareholders need representation at the annual mtg.
Can you Northern Californians write, for the readers of this thread, about the important stuff that was (will be) shared at the upcoming December 9th annual meeting? Any interesting questions for Mel? Thanks in advance.
From what I read, $22. is too high for this trust. Any ideas concerning the intrinsic value? Does the prospectus indicate if future drilling on the properties will be allowed and/or encouraged? Thanks, BF1
Are the Calgary Stamps playing possum, have they muchos injuries, or did they actually turn suddenly poor at football? Thanks in advance, BF1
GENTS---My ECU common has been taken for conversion, but my ECU warrants remain in my account. Anyone know the new AUMN related symbol for the former ECU warrants? And why have they not, as of Sept 9, been sent for conversion? Thanks for any news.
GENTS---Is there a good reason to drive to Folsom for the annual meeting Friday? Lively Q&A session? Interesting Power Point presentation? Good refreshments?
Fellow inflation-phobes----How many head of cattle does one buy with 100 units (shares) of LSTK? Otherwise are we simply buying derivative paper promises, or futures, or bank bonds that may not be redeemed due to default?
GENTS---I am an old man and a lurker/contributer to various message boards. Your MUSINGS here are as well conceived, coherent and interesting as any extended thread that I can remember seeing.
Please tell me, Mr. Need_more_money; on a cruise ship, is the rake 10 percent on EVERY hand?? PTEK should make really great money at that rate---as long as fresh players keep using the table. Is it your experience that that there are winners? Or do the players simply contribute to the rake, and then leave?
It seems to me that on any given cruise there might be two possibilities--1)Many passengers contributing; or 2)Almost no players because those interested are quickly tapped out by the 10% rake.---Any comments, please.
Was there any hint at the Annual Meeting that this rally would ensue? Weren't any of you Sacramento area fellows in attendance?
What (if anything) informative transpired at the Annual Meeting on Friday, Dec. 10? Was the atmosphere upbeat, neutral, or subdued? Did they discuss how fund managers or insiders were behaving with regard to recent trading? Were any notable predictions or projections put forth for the attendees?
