  • US Steel (X) broke out on the upside these past
    three days.

TKR typically lags about a week
    behind, strong steel upswings.

    So, TKR should be
poised for a big up move soon, may I predict the week of
    December 6?

I suppose if I post positive enough,
    it'll eventually happen.

    But seriously folks,
the charts and the fundamentals point to some new
investment interest in this equity, after an 18 month
    lull.

Now is the time to buy TKR and just hold it, for some
good appreciation. The 30's should be in your site
    glass.

May I have your comment? I would like to read your
    postings, and opinion.

    timing and value

I don't really look for percentage gains... in
other words, I like to buy out of favor, and catch just
before momentum takes them out of depressed
    condition.

My timing has been a bit early on
    TKR, but I
believe it is just getting ready to propel upwards.

Today, TKR closed on its 200 day MA, it has not done
that for a long time. So I believe that TKR may be
ready to go on the up and up, into the 20's
    soon.

    Let's see if this happens.

    Anyway, I patiently
wait, and let my money work for me. Meantime, I'll take
    the dividend.

  • I note that this board is very quiet. I believe
this is another sign that the party left a long time
ago. So values are good, the suckers have moved on to
    dot coms.

I remain a patient investor, and
plan to wait until this stock is valued somewhere in
the mid to upper thirtys... then will reflect what to
    do.

Dividend allows me to be patient.

    If it stays in
the teens or low 20's and I have more cash, I'll buy
    more.

    Now have 4000 shares.

    Also have recently
purchased own X (US Steel), and OS (Oregon Steel). Like
amounts invested in X and OS (undervalued and out of
favor). X pays a nice dividend and OS pays almost 6
    percent.

    Good luck to all.

It's pretty obvious to my eyes, that this is a
    good value.

It's not like we are talking about
some hype type "never heard of 'em" computer device
    company.

This is a world class industrial franchise, that got
hit hard by the Asian depression, and the oilfield
    recession.

And the oilfield is coming back.

    And Asia
seems to have seen the worse.

    So, I believe that
this is one of those great buying opportunities. Now
is a good time to buy TKR.

    If not, then TKR
would be destined for new lows. And I don't believe
that is going to happen. I believe that TKR would then
be a nice acquisition, for a holding company like
Dover, or the like, to come in and put new management in
    place.

So ... I've been buying a lot in this 18 range, and
will continue at these price levels. I still believe
that we will not see the teens again, perhaps this
week or two, will be the last opportunity to buy TKR
    in the teens this millineum!

    By the way, I'll
be buying more this week, on the way
    up.

    Let's watch,

    regards

I don't believe it is the demand from asia,...
    it's lessening of
the need for the Asian mills to
dump steel product on the U.S. This gives the opportun
ity for prices to rise again.

    Mostly
pyschology, and Wall Street is normally way ahead of hte
    curve with cyclicals, like steel.

    TKR is one
heck of a franchise - industrial bearings, automarket
    and the aftersales market.

    Look, TKR equity
is selling at a bargain price, the current market
situation and cash flow impairment is already discounted in
    the stock price.

    Any surprise or reversal of
pyschology will send this TKR stock way up up up.

Plan to see 28-30 sometime within the next 9
    months.

Most important, it is highly probable that TKR is
RIGHT NOW getting ready to jump up in price to the low
20's. If this is the case, you'll not see the teens
    again, in htis century.

    Let's
    see.

    regards

Indeed, it looks like it was the bottom. Up and up from here on.

we are close to bottom now.

    take my
advice, if you plan on buying TKR as an investment and
are not just a nervous nelly wiggle watcher...buy it
    now.

You will be rewarded sometime in the next 9 months or
    so, when TKR sees 28-30.

    And take the imminent
dividend as a nice little bonus for being a shareholder.

Call me lucky if you must.

    But my first
trade on EBAY was a winner. I shorted at 187 5/8 in May
( and made my first post on this board at that
time), and covered below 149 ( about the 200 day moving
    average).

I use common sense, and convergence technical
analysis ( my brand that works for me - nice discipline).
I've been watching this EBAY since it went public.
What a stock! But I plan on staying on the sidelines,
until I see some more breakdown. Better plays
elsewhere, with less risk. Like what, you might say? May I
    offer a suggestion?

Yes, I saw it coming. So I
made 40+ points. Not bad for about a months worth of
    shorting.

Now I am long oil service stocks. Bought 10,000
shares of TBI, and also some SLB. TBI will see a pop
soon. It is now 14 3/8, it'll go up and up these next
    3-6 months.

    good luck to
    all.

    +++++for my German friends:

    Rufen Sie mich
    glcklich an, wenn Sie mssen.
    Aber mein erster Handel
    Aktie).

    Ich verwende gesunden Menschenverstand
und technische Analyse der Konvergenz (meine Marke,
die fr mich bearbeitet - nette Disziplin). Ich habe
dieses EBAY berwacht, seit es bekannt wurde. Ein was
fr Vorrat! Aber ich plane auf dem Bleiben auf den
Sidelines, bis ich mehr Zusammenbruch sehe. Bessere Spiele
anderwohin, mit weniger Gefahr. Wie was konnten Sie sagen?

Bessere Spiele
anderwohin, mit weniger Gefahr. Wie was konnten Sie sagen?
    Mag ich einen Vorschlag anbieten?

    Jetzt bin
ich lange lservice-Vorrte. Gekauft 10.000 Anteile
von TBI und auch irgendein SLB. TBI sieht einen Knall
bald. Er ist jetzt 14 3/8, geht er oben und up diese
    folgenden 3-6 Monate.

    gutes Glck zu allen.

  • The entire internet industry is getting ready to
    take a big tumble.

    Yahoo already has started
it's fall... but it is not obvious to most investors,
    yet.

Ebay has stayed rather strong to date, but will soon
    crash.
Low 100's by September. Should be seeing some strong
down days soon, lots of volatility, not straight down,
but for long stock holders, my advice is to take your
profit, and get out of EBAY for a
    while.

    +++++

What would be so difficult for an IBM or like, to
emulate EBAY with a similar startup, if the margins look
    good?

The obvious answer is nothing would stop them, and
the startup costs would not be that significant. But
the reason why it has not happened, is because the
prospects for good margins are just not there
    yet.

Argue with me if you want... but my money is now on the
    short side.

And to date, I've never been wrong
with my shorts.... 20 years + experience.

    good
    luck to all.

there is so little interest in this stock, that
it gives us plenty of time to buy in at these
    wonderful price levels.

    Most money managers would
not even consider AAON mainly because of its low
market capitalization. Also, there is not much trading
    done with this equity.

    I think and believe that
there are only one or two money managers keenly
watching this equity. They are net buyers, and you will
see them enter the market from time to
    time.

Mostly what I see are retail trades, about 1-3 thousand
shares, and some 200 share type trades.

    Is it true
that AAON supplies most of the Wal Mart HVAC units?

  • Right, 9 7/8 is not the type of high most people
report. For example, it is not the high for the year. And
it is not the all time high ( some years back)
    .

However, it is an interim closing high. AAON falls into a
    classic
buy pattern, that is my "discipline". And it is a new
high on the way for a breakout up. Watch and see.

AAON sometime very soon will leg up and see maybe 11,
    12 even 13.

I think ( yes, think) that AAON
will have a run up for a time period of about 9
    months.

Let's watch. By the way, I won't post my
discipline, but it is a good one, and makes me money. So,
here's one test. And, by the way, if I it doesn't
happen, I'll get out early enough that it won't
    hurt.

    And I'll post.

    best regards.

    yesterday's close at 9 7/8 (up 7/8)is a new
    closing (interim) high.

    This stock is going up,
the next week or two will be real good for
shareholders. I think the next 9 months will be up, up, and
    away.

    good luck to all.

  • timing looks right.... AAON should be rising high
    soon.

    bought today at 9 1/4

    would not be surprised
to hear that somebody is acquiring these shares...
this is a good acquisition candidate,... also just a
    good investment.

what else do you want as an
investor?.... small cap (less than 7 million shares), nice
revenue growth, nice profit growth, recent completion of
facilities to allow for future growth, right product,

    etc etc

    little institutional interest so
    far... what a charm!

what a buy! i plan on
    buying more.

    best of luck to all

I sold all my TKR at 41 1/2.

    Today it
    closed at 17 and change.

I am looking to buy at
these levels. It should see the 26-28 range within the
next 9 months, so this looks to be some easy money. In
the meantime, you get a nice dividend.

    Happy

    Today's close at at about 34 1/2, is a
    shocker.

Look, I sold at 41 1/2. Am I glad, and
    lucky.

Soemthing is wrong in the steel sector, and also the oil
service sector. The market is very pessimistic right now,
    in both areas.

The close is below the 200 day
ma. So it is worth paying great attention
    to.

I am concerned. But no longer a shareholder, just
looking to buy. But maybe I should put off my
    investments. Not sure, yet.
