Yeah, if you believe the chance for a few points over the next few months is a Big Thing.Hope springs eternal.
Well, we might, if you could learn basic English and spelling, jaasr33..
This board appears to be overrun with idiots...? If the world of investing is dominated by the likes of intelligence displayed on this board, what a #$%$ shoot it has become. No wonder the big boys are relieving such folks of their money. If there is useful information here, it isn't worth the time to sort through the drivel to find it. Good luck.
Everything points to SPPI moving up ... finally! Every dog has it's day. I remember very well when this pos was $12-13. I don't think we will pop to there, but $8-9 might be in the cards.
Folks here need to attend a basic 101 Investing course. "What effect...?" Figure it out: price/share divided by 2, times 2. Duh. No, it doesn't mean the value of the company or your holding go down. There is
merely twice as much stock out there. Splits often come when management sees growth ahead.
Large volume, price spike... let's hope somebody knows something and longs all get to participate. Wouldn't that be nice for long-suffering little guy holding this stock.
This is the most "manipulated" stock I have ever seen. It is an ideal stock for it. You can bet on every generated run up and subsequent drop the hedge fund boys are making big money. This stock does not move for any rational business or valuation reasons, otherwise why would it be worth $1.94 one day and a $1.61 the next and then vice versa without significant news. The pattern has been going on for years. Maybe, if the company actually had positive news, it would break out of the pattern or the hold of the market makers, but in he meantime, it ain't going anywhere that the big boys don't control. Wanna take the risk? Buy in again, now. Wait several months for the next 20-cent run up (maybe), then sell quick, quick.
Buyout maybe? But When? Profitability, but when? Dead money? Looks like it'll be dead for a long time to come. Tax loss sale...looks like that's where it is deservedly headed...? Anybody got anything positive to say?
What a worthless do-nothing stock/company this has been. Target raised to $19 ...eh? What about those who bought several years ago at $30? Why would it be upgraded on the basis of a $2 target? It doesn't deserve a neutral rating. The best possible scenario would be for it to be bought out. But who would ever want it? With all the domestic NG shale plays going on, NBR still couldn't manage to do anything. This is a poorly run company with no prospects for improvement.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Good man. Forget the #$%$ hype, stay the course. After the big boys suck all the wind out of it they can, it'll go back up.
