Classic short attack... the big spikes on the 1 day chart show it. Why would you sell 320K shares in a minute while driving the price down 6-8 cents..
Today's chart is filled with similar "minutes". An individual trying to profit in the market does not intentionally sell to drive the price down. .

I tend to go for the hybrid reits... Had KFN from 1.55 (kkr swallowed them at 12)... NCT from Mid 4's pre spins (4). NRF Mid 5's pre spin. Sold the NSAM in the 22's and NRF in the mid 18's.
The management at NRF got exceptionally greedy and they have been hit hard... Div has maintained, but the potential for increasing the div has dwindled.

There have been many opportunities... 2012 to 2013 was also a bargain period for many of them...
These are buy and hold stocks... buy drip, increase annual income... My main reit holdings are 40-60% drip shares now.
One can only hope.... The REIT sector share prices have not recovered from the hammer down the last 9 months. This despite maintaining dividends (sustainable) or increasing on growing eps... Great opportunities out there to get in for the long haul.
The technical are simply a passtime. This is still an 18 month story to fully unfold. Watching the technical and taking the opportunity to learn them will help with all your investing.
