You are kidding about rich valuation, I assume. 41 consecutive quarters of increasing Same Store Sales, only 100 stores+/-, With their track record and the runway ahead, the valuation is as cheap as it is going to be for years. Watch what happen when it clears 39.
Welcome! I disagree with you and think you are going to get crushed, but I applaud your being clear about why you are here. Cheers!!
This could well be and I am no expert on China, but if this was in fact the case, why would they let it go public in the first place. Why put themselves in the position of having to reign it in?
Let me preface by saying that I think both will get there and far beyond. AAPL has a good head start, but the top-line growth & margins generated by BABA along with it's runway make me think it will be much loser than each think. My bet at this point is AAPL pips BABA to $1T, but gets to $2T first.
Let me preface this by saying I think both will get there and beyond. Apple has a pretty good head start, but top line growth and margins that BABA generate have me thinking it will be a closer race than most think.
Fair enough, but I think you are underestimating the growth potential in China with hardware and also Apple Pay globally. I like to think about when all a huge number of the world's financial transactions are conducted on their phones and then they decide to get more aggressive on terms with Visa, MC, and AMEX like they did with carriers:-)
True but not an unreasonable expectation. After all, it took 5 years for it to travel that far to this point, and people would have chuckled at a $650B market cap and locked you up if you you said Apple will be bigger than the entire universe of public Russian companies put together!!! Of course, that is exactly what happened. The network effect in play now would arguably make it easier to make this next advance and capitalize in things like Apple Pay more quickly. We'll see.
700 would be a pretty good guess. A conservative guess is that it takes 7 years to get there, but I'd put money on 5 years.
Now it all makes perfect sense. The reason slider has gotten smashed by FB is he views the world though the Obama distortion field. Someone who looks at The Amateur as having done a good job, would not surprisingly fail to grasp an actual transformative company!!!
Ruh roh!!! How's that working out for you? I bet the ladies be blowing up your phone (telling you to add funds to your account ASAP due to a margin call:-)!! Hahahahaha!!!
Same reason they shouldn't block Visa, MC, and AMEX....bad business. Not a good strategy to make your customer's lives more difficult. To each their own though.
Dumbest....and among the richest and getting richer. Poor Basic! They might be dumb, but not the dumbest. That is reserved for folks that have watched this thing chug ever higher, crowing about what a scam it is while everyone they are heaping scorn on get rich!
Investing in FB is FUN!!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
