When CNSL acquired SureWest, everything went to hell in a hand basket. The management for CNSL is totally incompetent, and hasn't effectively incorporated their acquisition into the company. Their customer support is horrible, and their networking systems have huge problems talking to each other. Email, telephone, and internet are ALL having problems. And the former SureWest employees are miserable working for CNSL. In my opinion, we need a huge shakeup in both management (from the top down) and with the BoD. They are totally ineffective at performing.
...or they will be seeing a huge class action suit for breach of fiduciary responsibility and mismangagement. I have Consolidated for my home, and all I can say is since they bought SureWest, the company has deteriorated markedly. Worst customer service in the industry and lousy attitude from investor relations. If in three months, I don't see a substantial shakeout, the class action suit will be initiated.
