All of what you said makes it a MUCH MORE LIKELY takeover target. The infrastructure is already in place; it's been modified over recent years; and management would substantially benefit from the sale. To that end, I wouldn't be surprised if the BoD and CEO is shopping the company as I type.
...its stock will be trading at 0.0003 again.
...not worth more than $1 million max, given negative revenues and deep losses. Perhaps someone will buy out company just to idle the patent.
I STAND CORRECTED! Market cap at $45 million and falling. Value of company? ZERO!
Not before I garner enough shareholders to join me in a class action suit against Ed and his minions for fraud and breach of fiduciary responsibility. He needs to be jailed for lying to us; and forced to disgorge himself from all his assets before he is sent to prison!
Bankruptcy inevitable! VOTE NO ON THE MERGER. No reason to the enrich the CEO anymore that he has been! Time for the class action suit! He should be in prison!
Yeah right! Like your PacNet Services and their 21 business with add millions to the bottom line -- NOT! Stop trying to pump this stock! Or you'll see the same side of litigation as Ed will see very soon!
8% dividend, and strong likelihood company will be bought out at a significant premium. Extremely low volume today. Perfect to make a ton of dough in the next few months.
I'm not a day trader. I'm a long term investor, especially with a 8% dividend. I think the stock is down today on yesterday's comments by the CEO. He said numbers weren't as strong as expected. However, he talked a lot about consolidation, and mentioned Verizon on several occasions. I'm thinking Verizon buys them for around $25/share within two years.
Given their amount of debt, and the costs associated with a takeover, I think $25/share is more than fair for buyer and seller.
If you listened to the CEO yesterday, he was very clear that the company was all about broadband and moving away from landline telephone service.
Well all I can say is go try and sell your bonds. If you can get 90 cents on the dollar, congrats. Because in 6 months they will be worth 10 cents on the dollar, if that. Shareholders are paid last; hence the precipitous price decline. Bondholders are next. THIS COMPANY IS DEFINITELY GOING UNDER. Get out while you can.
