Per a review of the MAKO web site, there are 142 hospitals with at least 1 Rio unit, 521 surgeons apparently using MAKOplasty for PKA plus 162 THA users... the major States with Rio units are CA, TX, FL and NY

MAKO is looking for a Product Support Specialist, SE Asia, 5 MAKOplasty Sales Specialist, 2 RIO Account Executives including one in Minneapolis and a Territory Sales Manager in Dallas plus many other positions per its website... u can draw your own conclusion, but I see this as very positive for 2013 growth & operating results as MAKO achieves profitability in 2014 in my opinion !!!!

I have discussed MAKOplasty with several prominent orthopaedic surgeons, who currently see no value in usuing MAKoplasty ... their egos are getting in the way of common sense & putting their patient at risk, in my opinion ... I asked one of them, whether he had any less than perfect days & how those patients felt with an inferior placement/ surgery? He simply reacted with a surprised look for me challenging his egotictic comments on WHY he doesnt use mAKOplasty !!!!!
