Talk of dilution is pretty much "nonsense" at this point. The stock will fly or crash, based on the acceptance of it's products. Initial indications are, there is a big interest in what they do.
The shares in question are convertible G shares. They are not "being dumped now" they are locked until conversion to common shares. The shares being dumped now are coming from recent purchasers who are panicking. The condition will correct itself.
You are pretty much on track. Most of what has been posted to the negative, is pure BS. The debt converted to preferred stock is likely locked from sale, for the time being. What you are seeing today is just people who followed the crowd and the pumping and are now panic selling. They create buying ops for those interested in the product. When everything shakes out it will start back up again. Best you can do is not panic or you play into their hands. Any price @ or below 9 cents is a fairly comfortable entry position but will require some patience.
It appears this "rehash" created a temporary up lift in PPS, people thinking it was new. So many watching this board for news of presentation in Italy.
It's not a matter of naming a better drug. It is proving 2-73 actually works. AVXL has a ton of studies yet to go, to prove that, with any degree of certainty. At this point it is 100% speculative stock, with little to base the speculation on, that is of a scientifically acceptable nature.
"" There is definitively not a second companies or institutions even close to AVXL. "" That is a totally crazy statement, without an iota of fact to back it up. You get the 2016 Nobel Pumping Award :)
Index funds are forced, by their own internal rules, to buy certain stocks in certain sectors. It says little about the likely hood of the companies success. AVXL has an ultra-low 3.93% level of institutional ownership, that speaks volumes on the opinion of the company product, thus far, by major investors.
The company presentations typically yield nothing in the way of comment from anyone with expertise in the field. I suspect he will talk about more about the theory and processes involved with the clinical studies rather than scores or patient behaviors.
"The next PR from the company will be epic imo and anyone short will be tremendously regretful for what they have done
PR's from the company are fairly worthless, at this point, unless the data and what it means, is confirmed by some recognized out side experts. AVXL can't keep this thing afloat on company PR's alone.
"Might even be like 1929 when brokers/investors were jumping from buildings."
This is probably true but it won't be the shorts doing the jumping :)
The MF article is fairly clear, if you can read between the lines. A lot of negatives, when put together, suggest a SCAM. When the stock implodes, a whole bunch of greedy, delusionary investors, are going to lose a bundle of money. And Dr. Missling will still have his $3 million in compensation.
