An interesting company, STML, who has the SGEN #$%$ their board, would seem to disagree with you. :-)
"Researchers have identified Cancer Stem Cells (CSCs) as the highly malignant "seeds" of tumors, typically comprising 1-5% of the tumor, that give rise to the majority (95-99%) of other tumor cells known as the "tumor bulk".
While standard therapies, including chemotherapy and radiation, may initially shrink tumors by killing tumor bulk, the failure of these therapies to eradicate CSCs may be a major contributor to treatment failure, tumor relapse and poor survival.
Accordingly, we believe that new therapies designed to target CSCs, in addition to tumor bulk, may represent a major advance in the fight against cancer. This premise has formed the basis of our drug development strategy, as illustrated."
Growth, Growth, Growth......, Put on your thinking caps SHORTY, and maybe you will figure it out yet. LOL :-)
Yes, thats very good!!! I'm close to that but nothing in the $1's. PZZI is a REAL chance to make big money, if our boys running the boat do a good job. I'm looking for way more than a 10 bagger here, if all goes reasonable. :-)
As small as they are, for a long term investor, these shares are immaterial to me. I WANT them to have the cash to GROW operations. "No selling shareholders", the company gets all the cash!! I honestly view that as POSITIVE. So many offerings today, the company gets very little, to none of the money. I honestly don't see my comments as hype? I really don't care if it moves up or down a couple points, I swing for the fence, such as REGN. My basis is $6 in REGN, and that's before you count trading profit. I want to see PZZI become a 10 bagger (at minimum) or its not worth my time. Really like your eye dropper in to a gallon being half full comment. That's a good one, will have to remember. :-). I do prefer being positive, life is more enjoyable for me that way, but that's just me.
GLTA ( Longs that is). Should be an interesting couple days.
P.S. have you ever considered, that the most you have to gain is (at present) 7 points, but your potential loss is infinite. LOL. :-). What a dumb bet.
Ah, so now you are Carnac the magnificent. LOL :-) I'm not here for Monday, I'm here for when JACK (or someone) buys them out for a very nice premium over the current price, or deciders to use them as the vehicle to execute a roll up of their competitors. Who cares about Monday, you are a SAD little person.
84 MILLION units/vehicles per year X $15k (SWAG) per unit = ALOT of reasons for TSLA to be on SOMEONES shopping list. GROWTH...GROWTH....GROWTH, what every CEO dreams about when he/she goes to bed.
I really like this ARTICLE, I think it's nice to know, as shorty bites the dust, he will be able to take nice deep breaths of CLEAN air. :-)
Oh my SHORTY, have you factored an Apple buy out, or Toyota, or Mercedes, or GE, or.......etc., etc.,....:-)
Check out Warren Buffett's comments this weekend with Becky Quick on CNBC, about why he does not short, may change your mind. Gist is, your loss to the upside is infinite, while your downside gain is fixed. From his perspective, just not worth the effort/attention that is required for the risk/reward.
Either way, good luck to you as we'll, but be careful, REGN is not just any other company. They are a rare breed, if you've been in the business for 25 years, and don't know Roy Vagelos's record, may want to check him out, amazing success/man.
In the future, as they drop by the wayside, they will have much cleaner air to breath their last breaths. :-)
No, YOU MISS THE POINT, the market is !!!! FOWARD LOOKING!!!! does not really give a hoot about historic numbers. REGN's growth rate will EXCEED any of those, and our revenue potential WARRANTS valuation. Go read Goldman Saks REGN PCSK9, aka REGN 727 call, and keep in mind, peek revenue on Lipitor (just Lipitor) was $13 to $14 BILLION. Then, if short, swallow hard, and cover first chance you get. Probably best to do that before you do more homework on their pipeline. 727 is ONE, of many to come, from this team, and Len plans on building a VERY LARGE company.
You really don't understand this industry do you? If you did, you would know the history of Dr. Vagelos SUCCESS at MRK, when he retired, and know better than to make the uninformed comments in your last post.
P.P.S Check our board of directors and their history in the world of of past cholesterol products/ADVANCES. Might be a Nobel Prize kind of thing in their too, just for fun. :-)
Have you checked the projections for existing products and then considered the pipeline? Dig a little deeper on REGN 727 (just this one) not to mention the other disclosed targets, AND THEN, do some homework on the UNDISCLOSED targets.
P.S. REGN 727 is a mega blockbuster and we have SIGNIFICANT first mover advantage, AND (to date) clinical superiority.
MRK market cap here we come. :-)
