  • They have the EPS at $0.04 which is only a penny more than LY. I believe it may double that estimate and we can achieve a breakout to double digits. The respect for this management is growing and now they are working on performance not just improvement. Run baby run

The idea of RAD to stop growing and improving there performance is almost ridiculous at this point in time and I will not disparage any of their competition as I make this statement. The company will continue to grow as the segment will continue to grow as well. The key is the baby boomers are just at the front end of this trend and they are living longer and healthier. This requires among other anti-aging prospects more trips to the drug store. The drugstores have all become the improved variety stores of years past and the baby boomers can relate to the old style variety store with a strong pharmacy and excellent pricing on over the counter products as well as a little pick me up in the wine and spirits department. The Pharmacy is a strong bell cow and it is working well as the service is particularly good and many of my friends, relatives prefer them now over CVS and Walgreens. My personal experience also supports this finding. At the end they are all good and they all have good locations but in my market I prefer Rite Aid because their locations are less stand alone than CVS and Walgreens. They still have a large number of stores in strip centers so they win on convenience, I can make several errands in one stop. Pricing is good and assortments are good and even getting better.

Zack;s as usual is much better at calling a buy than a sell. I bought 4000 shares today. Thanks.

I am not short currently I have not been short since the teens, I actually am hoping the company makes it but it is dead money long or short imo. My statement has to do with my belief that the company will not file a chapter 11 during 2015. So relax. Do not look for a return to the teens though. Not enough Horse Power. Ron Johnson sucked the juice out of this company. Worst CEO of all time that was not indicted .My sell rating s about better use of funds than waste it here.

  • but it may never earn a net profit in this decade either. Money eater. A lot of better trades out there now.
