hard to say. it could have been a covered call write which would only mean someone was looking to collect income, 3% between now and expiration.
Good news for AMBS. Look for the article under the Eli Lilly ticker symbol.
wow! I'm jealous. It's just plain stupid for most of us to have such limited options. That's why, when I get the chance to transfer my 401k to my IRA, I jump all over it.
One would think it if sapphire screens take off, you would also want to invest in the company that produces the purified aluminum oxide which is used to make the sapphire. Just a guess, but maybe the Australian company Allumina (AWC)?
Well I can only assume you are referring to me, as I am the one recommending international funds. First of all, "plants for Janus"? In the immortal words of John McEnroe: "you can not be serious". That is just absurd. Why overseas funds? Simple. Buy low, sell high. Europe has bottomed, read the news. Did anyone make money going long the U.S. market when it bottomed in March of 2009? Yes. Will people make money buying the bottom of Europe? Yes. But should we jump into JAOSX? Not if you have better 401k overseas funds to choose from. Yes, if you if you do not, because you need exposure. I wont argue that JAOSX is a 2 star fund, and deservedly so, but wait and see, it will have it's day. It is already up 10% year to date.
Motley fool is saying dillution is pending, but didn't they just do this recently??
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Yep, looks awesome! Unfortunately, it's not offered in my 401k, Jaosx is one of 3 I have to choose from, so I work with the cards I'm dealt! But thanks!!!
Yes, it has been a very bad performer, but every dog has their day, I'ld be long this fund now. With U.S funds/markets having done so well, I see big value in overseas funds now. It makes sense to me to start looking at selling your domestic winners and buying this fund now. Of course it depends on your time horizon, but this most likely being a 401k choice, and therefor being a longer term hold, will serve you well in going forward. Just look at the 5 year chart on this fund, it will again hit either $50 or $60 again. And at $36 per share now, that's a big gain percentage wise.
I contacted Janus about this, and they had an issue with their NAV change updates but has now been fixed.
Mike! I didn't know you posted on Yahoo message boards! How are you? Are you long or short on SQNM? Oh, one more question, do you still have Evander's ear or did you give that back? Thanks!
I don't know what's such a big deal about sapphire screens being more expensive (at least for cell phones). I read it would bump the price of the phone up by $30. I say big deal. I've paid for my kids broken screens to be replaced 3 times now. I would gladly upgrade them to a screen that is less likely to break. It's like an insurance policy, it pays for itself.
SA? What's that?
amazing, big volume took it down, but small volume is bringing it back!? I don't understand that. From the lows, it like 2k, 1k, etc volume and it's moving up. Someone just shoot me....
Yeah, my bad, the GAAP vs. non-GAPP always screws me up. Anyways, the after hour action is pretty nice. Big chunks being bought at todays closing price. We should be green tomorrow. :)
eom
Most assume a Europe interest rate cut is in the works this week. Will this be a positive or negative impact on MT's stock price???
Sentiment: Buy
yes you can, so long as you have a better product.
And you know this because you're gifted or because you're talking out your #$%$ again?
Excellent post hangman. I agree with your GLW theory, I have long felt that would be a potential move by them. It sure is nice to see GTAT move a little today...
Sentiment: Buy
What the heck????????????
