See. It's just like I said.
Beton4s is from Kentucky and he doesn't see anything abnormal about the colonel.
The Col probably seems like a normal and good man to Kentuckians.
To the rest of the country it's rather uncomfortable when he appears on the television.
Once considered among Kentucky's best and brightest. Despite the fact that he had a map, it appears he spent three weeks going in circles and was shot and captured armed with only pop tarts and bug spray.
Mitch has more important things to do, like getting statues removed from the statehouse.
George Washington owned slaves. That offends me. The monument needs to be removed from the capital. It should only be viewed in a museum.
The same goes for Mount Rushmore, which glorifies two slave owners.
OK, enough politics. My big bucket of greasy Kentucky Fried Rat Tails is gittin cold.
People who eat grease soaked food from a bucket probably don't mind a little rat tail anyways.
Now even the General Lee is being stripped of its Confederate Battle Flag.
It's a sad day in America. Our history is being erased while the real racist is still running loose and voting down our Yahoo posts.
If we remove the flag and memorials and all other reminders, then it never happened.
Good thing they didn't put the derby against the bowling again this year.
When I posted that, boaf went off on a tirade and started pulling facts out of his backside.
Ratings were clearly down.
Some of the numbers out of the derby might look encouraging, while others are just plain bad. I doubt he would brag about record handle if he normalized the number (for example to 1990 dollars). Same with attendance and television ratings.
Beyond the derby, the triple crown saw declining ratings. And the blood horse reported a 10% drop in handle for the Belmont (the climax of the campaign). Clearly America was saying 'enough already', especially by the time the Belmont was run.
Stop misrepresenting. I pointed out the fact that triple crown ratings were down.
Then you brought up wagering and attendance and concentrated on the derby and brought up a lot of stuff unrelated to my original post because you hated to admit what I posted was true.
We've already agreed that ratings are down and horse racing is in decline. Stop trying to divert with your unrelated, shaky (and often made up) facts.
Boaf is basically agreeing with me that horse racing is in decline and the ratings are in the crapper. But he just can't bring himself to admit it.
