I have had HP PC's and laptops for many years. In the same way that Carnival Cruise Lines have steadily taken more and more away from their customers through the years in the name of making better profits, HP has done the same. My replacement laptop was so poorly designed, when I returned it to Costco and they asked why, after I told them, for example, how poorly the keyboard works, they replied "yes, we know, we hear that a lot on our returns". Sad that quality is no longer the priority. Sales will drop.
I have had faked beauty products where the item sold looked "new" but on further inspection the bottle could easily have been opened and anything could have been put into the bottle, and it was. My girlfriend bought Vivite facial serum and it was diluted so it did still have the product scent, but it was mixed with a common cream so we only got 50% strength of the product. That was through Amazon. I notice where people post these issues onto the Amazon "reviews" but it seems nobody does anything about the problem. Thus I am sure Alibaba has to go through the same pains. Maybe Alibaba will do a better job with this issue than Amazon has done.
