avoid questions: NO, nosplit, I mean like you yourself, who would not touch my question "When would any new US airport ever be built in a Romney/Tea Party administration" -- I asked you more than once, but you wouldn't touch it, only replying:

By nosplit . Nov 4, 2012 9:20 PM . Permalink Go to topic
trock: I will answer no further questions until one of you liberals take the Obama dem party test.

nosplit, I also posted a long reply specifically to you, about the trillion dollar "structural deficit" bush left Obama in Jan. 2009, but the entire thread had vanished very soon after, LOL.
You really didn't want anyone reading that one! Too many facts.

"all global warming has done..." -- tell that to the Sandy victims and see if you get lots of agreement.
    Please answer the airports question:
WHEN would a new modern U.S. airport ever be built under a republican/tea party rule?
I'm betting NO rightwingers will dare to answer that question seriously.

making billionaires richer, or strengthening the middle class?

How about FEMA and Medicare only for blue states, while we're at it! That way red states can have their beloved small government and the rest of us can have progress and our normal life back again.

OBAMA WAS A TOTAL DISASTER FOR A PRESIDENT.

    by richeydouglas Aug 20, 2012 5:13 PM

    Facts:
2008 total job losses (Bush recession) = TWO MILLION SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND (2,600,000).
January 2009 job losses, reported on Friday 2/6/2009 = 741,000.
February 2009 job losses, reported on Friday 3/6/2009 = 651,000.

So when Obama had been in office for barely TWO WEEKS, FOUR MILLION JOBS HAVE DISAPPEARED.
That is what Obama "inherited". Huge job losses, mean huge deficits, as tax receipts dry up and unemployment costs rise. Thanks, Bush.

Yes, the stock market hit its low point of 6547 the next trading day, March 9, 2009 - SIX WEEKS into Obama's presidency. The Stimulus passed the house on Feb 13, so not even started to take effect. But almost.
Today the Dow is 13,320, up TWO HUNDRED AND THREE PERCENT under Obama.
How did YOUR portfolio do since March 9, 2009?

FOUR POINT THREE MILLION JOBS CREATED since the losses slowed and stopped by Jan, 2010 (the STIMULUS BILL takes effect).
That is MORE JOB GROWTH THAN IN DUBYA'S ENTIRE EIGHT YEARS.
(And -- even JIMMY CARTER CREATED MORE JOBS IN FOUR YEARS THAN DUBYA DID IN EIGHT YEARS.)
    Facts.

it is SPECULATION by Goldman Sachs, etc., and hedge funds buying oil and gas futures and gambling our bank deposit money to increase their profits. This is why gas (and other commodities) soar "for no reason".
This is the result of the end of the Glass-Stegal act in 1999 -- that allowed. banks into the gambling/speculation business.
Obama and democrats want banks out of the business of speculation before they cause ANOTHER global economic collapse (Dodd-Frank bill), but YOUR SIDE says NO, LET THE BANKS DO WHATEVER THE FVCK THEY PLEASE -- WE NEED TO REPEAL DODD-FRANK!
Right Richie? And you don't even know what those things are, but you still go out and repeat whatever Fox tells you to, and that's why we arre in the mess we're in.
Yah gotta laugh when you read a post from a Fox viewer starting with "all I know is...". Especially when you've shown them actual data for their first time.

please look at the ACTUAL GAS PRICE DATA here:
    http://www.randomuseless.info/gasprice/gasprice.html
And tell us that $1.85 is where you think gas should be priced after reviewing the graph. That huge PLUNGE in gas prices during 2008, and hitting bottom right around election day 2008, was either massive manipulation or a reflection of the world economy going off a cliff as Bush was heading out the door.
Also, if you think repubs are the best stewards of gas prices, compare the graph showing Clinton's 8 years compared to Dubya's.
    Who did better?

No Richey, even Fox News got one thing right (thanks for this link, Tanker):
    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,115279,00.html

This Fox story says, in part:
President Bush on Friday promoted his efforts to help Americans, especially minorities, "realize their dreams" of home ownership as he wooed the large Hispanic population of a state he barely lost four years ago.
"We want more people owning their own home in America," Bush said. His goal is to have 5.5 million minority homeowners in the country by the end of the decade.
Touting his tax cuts as the economy's savior — and pointing to the strong housing market as proof — Bush said "more people own their own home now than ever." More than 50 percent of minorities owned their own homes in the last three months of 2003 for the first time ever, the president said.

"How many closed liberal minds are there?". -- are you really asking me for the answer, and if I gave you one, would you accept it? lol...
"have I ever watched FOX ever?" - yes, of course. I flip to that channel occasionally, but also, you'd be surprised how often excerpts from Fox News are shown on MSNBC programs, like Rachel's and Lawrence O'Donnell's.
For example, the show all the Fox outrage segments about Obama's "You didn't build that" comment -- then they show what Obama's previous couple sentences wer, so you hear the actual context -- then all the liberal viewers laugh uproariously, because the see once again, how Fox misleads and lies to its viewers.
Al Gore rich -- he produced an Oscar and Grammy winning documentary, it's called "An Inconvenient Truth", which sold lots and lots of DVD copies after its theatrical release -- I think this made a lot of money for him, as the DVD is still selling years later. I'm betting he is still maybe 1/100th as rich as Romney, but who knows, since Romney won't tell.
DID YOU KNOW that Exxon, BP, Koch Industries, and the others, ALL EMPLOY THEIR OWN "SCIENTISTS" to do nothing but refute climate change and appear on Fox and elsewhere, and make people like you able to think the science is not settled?
"do I believe conservatives want dirty air", etc... -- NOT IN THEIR BACKYARD, of course, but if it's far enough away from their gated Mac-mansion neighborhood, and it helps their goal of absolute unlimited profit for industry, especially the biggest ones, oil and military, then YES, BRING IT ON -- it can't come soon enough. because the almighty dollar and infinite wealth is the only thing that motivates them in any way.
and please don't ask ME for the climate science research -- I am not a climate scientist. But I do believe in science, unlike so many on your side.
Somehow I bet you trust medical research enough to go get an operation when your doctor tells you it would be important to -- and I bet you trust the technology of car engines enough to travel in one frequently.
When the future of the whole planet is at stake, for some reason (corporate profits at stake?) there is no concern among the Fox people, and their stable of politicians, the same ones that can't utter a whole paragraph without it containing the words children and grandchildren.
I sure hope those grandchildren remember who it was that turned their planet into a weather nightmare, when they could have acted to save it.

what?? you have never heard of "reducing your carbon footprint"?
greenhouse gases? CO2 emissions? Global Warming?
oh yeah... Fox News... I keep forgetting how different the universe is for you people. We can't even have a discussion any more because there are two different "realities" now. One is based on science and facts and research, and the other is what "Fox and Friends" wants you to believe.
well just so you know, yes, burning petroleum products is bringing about the end of our time on this planet.

showing them the actual graphs that disprove their premise does no good TiVo, you answer about jobs, they say what about deficit.
if you had answered his deficit topic, he would say jobs...
(and throw in some racist or homophobic name calling for good measure.)
And for the dumb Fox guy: THE DEFICIT IS NOT A SPENDING PROBLEM, IT IS AN INCOME PROBLEM.
Deficits grow big during recessions when jobs are lost and income tax receipts are down, while unemployment costs go up.
We need the 1% to bite it and suck up the 3% tax rise, and we need another stimulus bill to get some jobs going again.
Don't trust the "job creator" b.s. any longer!

where did Richie go? Still waiting for a reply...

<<The reason Obama could not create any jobs or opportunities is because of his destructive policies of hate and divide.>>
No Richey, the reason Obama could not create any jobs or opportunities is because PRESIDENTS DON'T CREATE JOBS.
Please read your Constitution. He did propose the AMERICAN JOBS ACT last September, it would have created 3 or 4 million jobs, but the Repubs fillibustered it as a complete bill, and also when separated into small pieces -- the only piece Congress was able to get past the fillibusters was the part about hiring military vets.
Repubs want HIGH unemployment through November -- we'll see if they care anything about JOBS after that.
    .................................................
<<Democrats controled congress during bush and the added 7 trillion in debt is Obama's mess that did not create any new permanent jobs.>>
No Richey, democrats controlled Congress only after the 2006 election, that means Jan. 2007 through 2008.
Don't you remember all the times Cheney presided over the Senate in case of a 50-50 tie?
    .................................................
    <<He supports Gays and Lesbians,>>
Yes Richey, they are Americans, too. Good for him.
    .................................................
    <<He supports Abortion,>>
I think you mean, he "supports a woman's right to have an abortion", which is legal in this country.
Few people "support abortion", meaning they want MORE of them. Almost everyone wants fewer abortions.
But that could mean CONTRACEPTION, something Republicans have sort of a problem with.
    .................................................
<<His health care was found unconstitutional under the Commerce Clause but OK as a tax.>>
Yes, we heard about that. Thanks, Roberts! We didn't think you had it in ya.
    .................................................
    <<He bows to Saudi princes,>>
I think you mean that in the singular, not plural.
And is it worse to BOW to a Saudi prince, or to walk around your Crawford ranch HOLDING HANDS with him, like the previous guy?
AND KISSING HIM -- lol, how did I forget that... Do the Google image search for "BUSH KISSING SAUDI PRINCE", in case Fox News never showed you...
    .................................................
<<He apologizes to the enemy and Now Outsourcing American Jobs to Mexicans because he refuses to secure our borders.>>
Can you site the quotation of Obama apologizing? Because no one can seem to find anything like that!
    .................................................
<<He is the first president to block states in federal court from enforcing the illegal immigration laws because he wants the latino voter block.>>
Don't you? Any maybe his motive is not what you say it is -- maybe he feels empathy for the kids being deported for no fault of their own?
    ................................................
<<Now he is attacking our Millitary in states like Ohio because he knows they mostly vote Republican. He is a pathetic man that imo is an extremist full of hate.>>
That makes no sense -- Ohio voted for Obama and for Clinton twice. And why would "attacking our military in states like Ohio" make Ohio voters vote for Obama?
No Richey, it's obvious from your tirades that YOU are the one full of hate. I never hear Obama calling anyone "pathetic" and "destructive" and your other low-information Fox viewer keywords.

thanks, laman! I sure want to hear a factual reply from Richie in return (and with no name-calling!), but it probably won't happen.
I'm especially interested in a rightwinger's reply to:
"Is it worse to BOW to a Saudi prince, or to HOLD HANDS with, and KISS him, like the previous president."
Because I don't think they ever ponder things like that, and it must be very important, lol...

yes, there are some taxes in the Health Care Act -- here they all are:
    http://www.mygovcost.org/2012/06/30/adding-up-the-new-taxes-of-obamacare/

so which of those are TOU being robbed by? are you a tanning bed manufacturer? No? maybe you spend more than $10,000 a year on your medical deductions? No? do you make more than $250K? No?
well, just like me, I think you're going to be relatively unaffected.
But the whole point of the Act wasn't to be cost-FREE, it was to cover the 40 million uninsured people in the country.
Why doesn't anyone seem to know that?
Could it be that Fox doesn't talk about the poor and uninsured very often, except to say they are leeches?
Is that they same way they're talked about in your church?
    just wondering.

    You're a real deep thinker, aren't you?
Remember the cheering in the repub debates when it was decided "let 'em die!" in reference to a hypothetical dying uninsured man?
Or when Perry bragged about executing record numbers of people?
This is what shows who has compassion and tollerance -- you wouldn't hear those exchanges or audience reactions at a democrat debate.
