Seems like when I am at Best Buy asking about Apple products the standard BBY speak is "well we have a shipment coming in on Tuesday, you can check back then". When you come back it's "well we have a shipment coming in on Thursday, you cn check back then". They have no idea what they have or when they might get anything. No clue whatsoever?
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Currently Best Buy is an Appliance Store selling mostly refigerators, stove/ovens and TV's. Very little current Apple products for sell. Not a lot of customer traffic either. Reminds me of the end days of Circuit City!
This law should be passed and illegal imigration cracked down on in every state in the union. Look what has happened to California due to illegal imigration. Just another drug and gang infested Mexican state! Everybody wants a hand out.
Oh yea, Obama said that was OK.
It could be another Bear Sterns.
A financially stronger institution takes it over for pennies on the dollar. It could happen over a weekend while no one is paying attention and can't sell there shares.
Thats what it is. You know he is embarassed. It's like bragging your team is going to kill the competition then get blown out 40-0. I don't think he appreciates Ebay because he's so rich.
than Google. When buiness are cutting back they will cut back the advertising budgets. When people lose their jobs or get their hours cut they will resort to selling on Ebay to make some extra cash to pay the bills. Plus more people would be buying during a resession because they can get better deals and cheaper prices on Ebay. JMO
Unlike other countries, the middle class Chinese love everything American including Ebay. It will be huge over there! The Chinese are very honest people and I can see how the Ebay system will work well over there.
it seems Ebay is going to be getting into the search business but taking an auction/online stores approach. This could be a huge revenue source.
"Whitman and Dutta predicted eBay will be able to stimulate even more sales later this year, with the addition of an online price comparison site, Shopping.com, and upgraded search technology to make it easier to find merchandise listed in auctions."
I'm not saying it going to happen but VIAC is one of those IPO's priced at $7.00 but by the the time it starts trading for regular investors to buy it could be $14.00 or more.
Excellent observation. I think all this short selling stocks under $5.00 is more myth than anything else. The upside is very limited. I doubt many pros fool with it.
I think they might have already payed them a visit. I have noticed the last couple of days they have toned it down quite abit.
A large percentage (90%+) of all day traders end up going broke. Stay with your long and strong approach and away from day trading.
Agree, it had a strong run from 4 to 8 now it has retraced halfway back to 6. Will probably run sideways for awhile and start to work back up as the future develops. It is never straight up all the time. It has to rest and retrace some. Long term, with only XM as the competetion, Sirius should do pretty good.
Laura Martin, an analyst with Soleil-Media Metrics, on Tuesday initiated coverage of Sirius and XM and rated both stocks a "Buy," saying she believes pay radio will eventually overtake traditional over-the-air radio, similar to the proliferation of cable and satellite television.
