The original news brought the stock from around 50 to 80 cents. At 3PM EST that day, the price started soaring on heavy volume. No scam here.
I just noticed this post. Your head is a depreciating asset.
Institutional ownership does reduce float and make shorting a bit more dangerous, but it also typically means a lack of investor activism. If Avi messes up next quarter, and then again and again, he won't be replaced... institutions will back him up for a decade.
denny.dozen, just pointing out that from a technical perspective, half a dozen short squeeze attempts were launched at DDD shorts this year. They were all aborted.
Correct -- naked short selling is not illegal. But legitimate shorting when stocks are down and the economy is sour is suspended... ah, games...
Do you have any evidence to support your claim, or are you just spewing B.S.? clinicaltrials dot gov says the trial ended in April 2015. (although they don't have results there)
They did say that the information about trial endpoint modification would be released ASAP. I think that if that's not the case, they would at least release any such info at a conference.
What would you imagine that an options book for beginners would tell you? About the danger of trading emotions and buying weekly options? The market rigging every Friday? Didn't think so.
Money doesn't forgive.
One of the posited reasons for the decline of the Roman Empire is that slavery had become very rare in the late days of the Empire. (no supply) The quality and quantity of available soldiers was also on the decline. There were massive population centers, the biggest being Rome, but a large number of those people did very little and survived on the dole. Able and willing labor was, in fact, (relatively) not cheap.
Ha -- there is no good book on options. The only option info they will give you is the basics of what an option is. The rest is going to be hogwash.
Okay. But, again, just looking at the Avon fake buyout offer, it has got to give one perspective on how horrible the AI is. News-reading algos are using word weight analysis to determine prices. Such technology is the definition of simplistic.
